Hi everyone! There's a great challenge going on over at Simon Says Stamp Blog, and I'm joining in the fun! This is the card I created for the "Let's Get Fruity" theme.
Supplies: Patterned Paper by The Girl's Paperie (red polka dot), Jenni Bowlin (two cherry patterns), Jenni Bowlin tickets, Bo Bunny black letter stickers, red ribbon, green jute and burlap from local scrapbook store, letter beads from Michaels, handmade pin, cherry journaling spot by American Crafts Dear Lizzy, buttons by Bag-O-Buttons from Foo-Fa-La, other: machine sewing.
I painted and glittered the buttons to make them look like cherries, and then tied them together with green jute for the stems. Thanks for looking! I especially hope the folks at Simon Says Stamp Blog like it - fingers crossed!
My Cup Runneth Over,
Karen
Beautiful, Karen!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card Karen, love the spotty papers and what a good idea to use buttons as cherries.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you shared this with us at the Simon Says Stamp challenge

This is really sweet. I love buttons and I love that you altered the buttons so prettily.
ReplyDeleteCute card! It's got a great homemade (thinking cherry pie) feel to it and the cherry buttons are a great idea!
