I also wanted to share this next photo. I've mentioned before that I am a "ribbon addict", but I don't think people realize just how bad this fixation of mine truly is. I have these plastic ribbon boxes that were sold at Target several years ago. They are four wide and fifteen boxes high (that's 60 boxes). Each box has six holes with about six different yardages of ribbon coming out of each hole. I LOVE RIBBON.

ReplyDeleteWhat a haul!!! I scored a ton of vintage sewing patterns once....in a huge plastic bag for $2.70. I wanted them making flowers for cards and layouts and when i got them to the cashier she tried to keep me from buying them...HA!! No way chicky!!! Enjoy your marvelous buttons!!!! Heck, spread them on the living room floor and roll around in them nekkid and laugh maniacally, I would!!!! :P
ReplyDeleteThat card is beautiful too by the way!!!
wow looks like lots of fun... thanks for sharing..
ReplyDeleteHi, Karen!! AWESOME score at Goodwill!!! I am a button and ribbon junkie myself, so I totally appreciate your ribbon stash - ha! ha! ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely card...you always create the prettiest things! By the way, I've got a treat for you over at my blog http://scrappinbeckyb.blogspot.com
Lastly, I was having trouble with posting a few days ago too, so I googled the problem to see how to fix it and it has to do with your settings and cookies. Hope this helps - I know how frustrating it can be when computer/web things don't work right - ha! ha!
Have a SUPER day!

Oh my giddy aunt Karen!!!! What an amazing bargain you got on the buttons and in my lifetime I dont think I will ever see so many ribbons. Thats one of the things I dont have much of Im afraid. Between ribbon and papers Ive been a very neglectful crafter. Dont know how it happened! Anyway, awesome photos. I love your card too. The butterflies are beautiful. And I love the brown paper, so cute. Lee xx

ReplyDeleteYou inspired me to go to Goodwill and look for buttons. The hubby even helped out in the search. Although I didn't bring any buttons home, I did not come home empty handed! LOL!
