It's Word Art Wednesday

I hope you're all having a great week.  Today is another Wonderful Word Art Wednesday.  Each Wednesday begins a new challenge at www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com - and we would be SO pleased to have you join in the fun this week.  You can link up any project you like - just use scripture or an encouraging sentiment.  Also, every week at Word Art Wednesday, there is a new piece of "Word Art" (a scripture image file) that you can have FOR FREE to use on your project.  You aren't "required" to use it, but it sure is beautiful.  Here is the card I made using my Word Art.

We also have a special Guest Designer this week at Word Art Wednesday - her name is Annette Allen.  You can check out her lovely work on our challenge blog, or you can see her own personal blog here:  www.myclevercreations.blogspot.com

Please plan to join us for a super fun Blog Hop starting February 9.  You won't want to miss this opportunity to win several great prizes and see the beautiful art along the way.  The main purpose of Word Art Wednesday is to share the love of the Lord, Jesus Christ, through our art. God is wonderful, and having the opportunity to use His precious Word in our art is such a blessing to us - we just want to share that joy with all of you.  We hope to see YOU this week at Word Art Wednesday, so get your free Word Art on our blog, and link up your cards and projects.  Here is the link for our Challenge blog:  www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com

I'm going to enter this card in the challenge at Simon Says Stamp.  You can read about that challenge here:  http://www.simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2012/01/simon-saysanything-goes.html - Anything Goes

And I'm also entering Abby's Scripture Challenge here:

Have a blessed week, and thank you for stopping by to say hello.

  16. You are such an encourager! I will definitely link my cards that have scripture to Word Art Wednesday, but I did feel that having one word didn't quite fit the bill-yet I took your advice. And, yes, you're welcome to follow my blog.

  20. Hi Karen, thanks for visiting my blog - always appreciated :) The reason I didn't link my card with WAW in the first place was that I like to create something with a particular challenge or challenges in mind. I think that if someone has bothered to come up with a theme or challenge, and that if someone has generously offered to sponsor it, I should create something whilst thinking about it. That's why I don't link cards or projects to every blog it meets the criteria for. I do follow WAW and do try to make time to participate though I've just started a new job so don't have as much time as I used to. I will try to make time to participate with this week's as it is a beautiful verse. The last couple of weeks though, the verses have printing with a blur (not my printer for once!) and I'm not sure why as I have successfully used them before. Anyway, I will try to make time!
I really do like the colours you have used in your card. The soft green is beautiful. I like the buttons at the top too - the perfect embellishment!

  21. Hi Karen, thanks for stopping by my blog today! I really love your style Karen, in all your beautiful creations. Love the color combo, your Nestie and papers and stitching... it's beautiful! Great baby card. *Ü* Thanks for sharing your heart for the Lord in your crafting. I'm honored to have WAW as our 'sister site' -- I hope to get more time to pop over and support each one of you ladies on the WAW team more often. :) Have a blessed week!
