Wonderful Wednesday

Hello everyone, and thanks for stopping by.  I'm excited that today starts another new challenge at Word Art Wednesday and you have the chance to win a great prize from Roben Marie Workshops.  I hope that you will stop by, grab this week's free scripture/Word Art, and enter a card or project in this week's challenge.

For this week's project, I made a little wall hanging.  I took chipboard, painted and distressed it, stamped and inked it, and then decorated it with scripture,  a flower cut from an old dress pattern using a Tim Holtz floral die, a crocheted flower, a Recollections brad and flowers, a Maya Road stick pin, some jute and baker's twine, and. . . oh my, too much going on here to mention it all.  This photo doesn't really even show it all up close and in detail.

  7. This such a pretty project! You collaged together a lot of wonderful elements. LOVE it. Looks like you used corrugated cardboard and I love that as a medium. This would be a wonderful little desktop gift!

  10. Karen, your work is fantastic as always. It's like a patchwork quilt with so many different features to study. I like that you used a sewing pattern to make a flower. You have portrayed one of God's promises to us in such a lovely way. ~ Abby
