I had posted my art (which was a card) at Word Art Wednesday this morning, but I just wasn't happy with it. I kept looking at it wondering what I could do to spruce it up a bit. So, I tore it apart and started over. I decided to make it into a three-page Mini Album. I placed the free word art/scripture for this week on the cover and framed it using a Cheery Lynn Designs square die-cut frame. This is similar to the art I made last week, except for that fact that this week I made it into a little book. I tied the book with seam binding, and it will hold four photos inside. I also added scripture, flowers, lace and other embellishments to the inside pages.
I'm entering this Mini Album in the following challenges:

I have been SO BLESSED to meet some of the sweetest people through blogging. God has sent several new friends my way, and some of them are just such sweet blessings that lift my heart when I need it most. I am so grateful for each of you who stop my blog and leave your sweet words of encouragement and praise. I do thank God for you, and I hope you know how special you all are to me. When God brings people into our lives, we need to remember to lift them up in prayer when they are going through difficult times. I consider it a privilege to be able to pray for my friends in the blogging world. I may never meet some of you here on this earth, but I know that God has allowed us to meet so that we can pray for each other now, and enjoy eternity together. I praise God for you.
My Cup Runneth Over,
Karen
Karen your mini album is gorgeous! I really like how you framed out the verse. Beautiful!! Your post is encouraging and so sweet (as usual), it's definitely a blessing to pray and ask the Lord for direction and leading in how to pray and then share a special Scripture that is on one's heart. You never know who it will minister to. But the Lord does! :-) God bless.
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful. You should post the embellishing you have done on the inside too. I would love to see it. I have to agree completely with Natalie above. He does know who it needs to bless. Thank you. Hugs, Robin

ReplyDeleteOh Karen, this is absolutely gorgeous! I'm sorry you weren't pleased with your original project, but this is certainly stunning. I love that it's a mini-album! Do we get a peek inside? :o) Your decorating is so beautiful. The Cheery Lynn doily as the frame is lovely, especially with the stitching around the beloved verse. The flowers and ribbon are gorgeous and in such pretty colors. :o)
