Daydream Designs Christmas

Hello my crafty friends!  I hope that you're all having a blessed week, and that you're enjoying the first days of December.  It's hard to believe how quickly Christmas is sneaking up on us.  I am very behind on making Christmas cards, so when I saw this darling Deck the Halls Digi Color Set from Daydream Designs, I just knew that I had to get busy.   All the beautiful images at Daydream Designs make it so easy to create beautiful cards, scrapbook pages, and altered art projects.  You will definitely want to check out all the sweet things available there. You won't be disappointed.  For this simple card, I just printed out the candy cane with holly and berries image from the Deck The Halls Colored Digi Set on cream cardstock, inked it with Tim Holtz green ink, and then I adhered it to a patterned paper with machine stitching.  I added a rub-on sentiment to the bottom, placed some pearl accents next to the sentiment, and then attached wool felt holly and berries which were cut using the Holly Jolly Die-Cut Collection from Papertrey Ink.  I also used a Detail Glittering Technique shared in their Make it Monday tutorial, which you can find here on Nichole Heady's Blog.

Here is a link to the fun Papertrey Ink challenge, as well as the other challenges I'm entering with this little card:

Thanks for visiting me today.  For those of you who asked about my Craft Boutiqe this past weekend, those who wished me well, and even some of you who prayed for me.....THANK YOU so very much.  I did quite well, and I am SO grateful to God for providing and for answering prayer.  It's always a fun time.  I wish you all well at your Holiday/Christmas Boutiques (for those of you selling this year).

Have a blessed day!
