I don't suppose that I will be able to make many more "holiday" cards this year. So, for my project this week at The Kraft Journal, I decided to make one last holiday card. I started with a Lunch Bag Kraft Blank Note Card from The Kraft Outlet along with some Simple Stories patterned papers and stickers, vintage lace, buttons with glitter, Red Baker's Twine, and I made a tiny little tag that I cut from Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock. Our challenge this week is "Something New", and so for my "Something New", I used a small piece of Music Washi Tape and let me tell you - the new washi tapes available now at The Kraft Outlet are super adorable. I couldn't resist getting myself "Something New". I hope that you will take time this week to stop by The Kraft Journal to play along in the "Something New" challenge. It's lots of fun.
I'm entering this card in a few challenges as follows:

I hope that you're all having a great week, and that you're keeping warm wherever you are. Have a blessed day, and I look forward to visiting your blog today.

ReplyDeleteGreat project Karen. Too bad I can't participate in the Kraft Journal Challenges. I've never even heard of their products and try to avoid purchasing things online unless absolutely necessary.
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping over on behalf of Word Art Wednesday. I appreciate you taking the time to come over and leave a comment.

Karen,
ReplyDeleteHow can anyone take all those elements and have a mini masterpeice emerge? I so like this card, every bit of it but the music washi tape may be my favorite.
Blessings
Carole

wow, gorgeous card, I've been like you and I've done a few Christmas cards that I have put into my stock for this Christmas x
ReplyDeleteHi Karen,
ReplyDeleteseee SEEEE???? I actually MADE it here haha, and because of your oh so thoughtful emailing me every now and again YOUR challenge here was the FIRST one I thought to do in this brand new year.
Your card is sooo lovely. I sometimes take the "Merry Monday" challenge with my sister, so will do festive cards thru the year (SO nice to be stocked up for the season when it comes instead of being held hostage to it - specially with craft fair sales etc) If you feel festive why not join us one time? I just take part in the challenge, not admin or anything like that.
Karen, you've been a blessing to me and I truly have appreciated the time you take out to visit my blog and email. I pray the Lord showers you with especial love this year!
♥ Barb
