Creations in Turquoise

It's Monday, which means another busy blog day for me.  This will be my first of at least two posts today.  I want to share this little card I made for this week's "Turquoise or Teal" Challenge at Eureka Stamps Challenge Blog.  I used digi #4203 (Small Cake) for this card which I colored and glittered and combined it with some fun, bright patterned papers and Bingo journaling card from October Afternoon that I machine stitched together.  I added some seam binding, a button, some baker's twine, and although it's pretty bright, I tried to keep the primary focus turquoise.

I hope that you will stop by to share your "Turquoise/Teal" creations with us this week at Eureka Stamps Challenge Blog for your chance to win some super cute images from the shop.  You will LOVE the selection of gorgeous digis and sentiments you will find there in the Eureka Stamps Shop.

Here are the challenges I'm entering with this card:

Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog - Simon Says "Let's Get to Paper Piecing" - I certainly "pieced together" and stitched together several patterned papers here. Isn't it fun?

Twist of Faith Card Challenges - Challenge:  Friendship - This is a Birthday Card for a special friend of mine.

Quirky Crafts Challenge Blog - Challenge:  Rainbow Bright - I love using all these bright colors

My Craft Spot by Kimberly - Challenge #84 - Wish Big!  This card brings big birthday wishes to my friend, Amy.

A special word of thanks to all of you who left such loving and supportive comments for my daughter, Andrea.  She is visiting her grandparents (my Mom and Dad) in Minnesota for a couple weeks.  (Brrrrr!)  We trust that God has something wonderful planned for her, and I am SO very grateful for all the encouraging words you left to help us get through this difficult time.  You are the best bloggy friends a girl could ever ask for, and I shared all your sweet comments with Andrea.  Thank you SO much!

Wishing you all a blessed week!  And don't forget to stop by Word Art Wednesday to play along with us there this week as well.
