Weekend Wishes

Well, it's finally Friday and I'm wishing you all a very relaxing weekend.  I know that we're ready for a weekend of family, friends and relaxation.  I hope that all of you are able to enjoy your weekends as well.  While my boys will be at some friends watching the Super Bowl on Sunday afternoon, I will be at home in my craft room, and I can really use the quiet time.  Since we finished home-schooling for the week, I had time to make a couple of cards this evening.  I can't wait to spend my weekend being creative, and I hope that all of you have as much fun this weekend taking it easy and enjoying some "down time".

I made this card using background patterned paper from October Afternoon, several different varieties of washi tape, some seam binding, a Pebbles in My Pocket Rub-On that's on an October Afternoon sticker, and I touched the edges of the patterned background paper with hot pink acrylic paint.  Another super easy card.  I love simple cards, and I can always use some extra Thank You cards.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog - Simon Says Anything Goes

The Craft's Meow Challenges - February Sketch Challenge

Pile It On Challenge Blog - Use Decorative Tape.  I used several different rolls of beautiful washi tape that I attached to cream cardstock and then cut into flag strips at different lengths.  I love using washi tape in different ways.  Decorative tape can be a super fun and easy way to create a card.

I hope you like my quick and easy card, and I also hope that your weekend will be relaxing, fun and wonderful.  Thank you for taking the time to stop by to say hello today.

Blessings to you,
Karen
