A Peaceful, Quiet Evening

WOW, I got up really early this morning, cleaned the house, took a shower, and sat down to make a card.  Our middle daughter, who we call Lily, will be home from college in about an hour.  She gets to visit with us for a week!  Yeah!!  I had just enough time to make this card, get it posted, and start on dinner before she gets here.  I was also a little bit worried that I'd run out of sunlight before I had a chance to take my photos, but......whew!  I finished everything!  God is SO GOOD to have taken away my sinus headache.  That was such a blessing, and special thanks to those of you who prayed for me.  I am SO blessed.

This card uses the colors from the challenge theme this week at The Play Date Cafe - Challenge #173 - Black, White and a Splash of Coral.  I used black, cream and coral (I sure hope that's OK).

Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge Blog - CHallenge #68 - Flowers & Ribbon - I used Making Memories wide coral ribbon, and flowers from Crafty Secrets and from Michaels.

Catered Crop Challenge Blog - Flower Power Recipe Swap

Sentimental Sundays Challenge Blog - Challenge #146 - Anything Goes

I used black scalloped cardstock and an old piece of cream Making Memories paper for the base.  I added some older Making Memories wide ribbon in coral, and some flowers from the dollar bin from Michaels, two Maya Road canvas tags from The Kraft Outlet, a vintage coral button from my stash, some black Baker's Twine, Maya Road trinket pins, a Tim Holtz Journaling Ticket, a Prima leave in coral, and a Crafty Secrets vintage floral image printed onto canvas.

Thanks for visiting, and have a blessed day!

My Cup Runneth Over,
Karen
