April Fun at V's Sweet Ideas

Each month, Vanessa of V's Sweet Ideas, along with our amazing Design Team, start a new challenge for everyone to participate in, and this month begins a really AWESOME challenge.  One reason it's such a special month is because it's an Anything Goes theme, which means you can enter ANY of your creations in our challenge, AND.....because of our awesome sponsor which is, none other than the incredible Ellen Hutson; and one lucky winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to Ellen Hutson's Amazing Store.  You can enter twice during the month, and if you're looking for some new goodies to use on your projects, I strongly encourage you to check out all the AMAZING products available at V's Sweet Shoppe.  V's Sweet Ideas is filled with delightful embellishments, and one of my favorite things about V's store is that the shipping prices are incredibly low (and fair), which is always a real blessing as we all know!  Orders $50 and over get free shipping (US only), and rates to Canada are quite reasonable as well.  I hope you will stop by the store to do some shopping, and then head on over to V's Sweet Ideas Challenge Blog to play along in this month's Anything Goes Challenge sponsored by Ellen Hutson.  We would LOVE to have you join us!

For my project, I started with an ivory base of Bazzill cardstock, and I added a background cut from a piece of My Mind's Eye patterned paper that I machine stitched onto my base.  Next, I added some goodies from V's Sweet Shoppe including an Every Day Chic Journaling Card (to which I added some Melissa Frances birthday rub-ons), some October Afternoon chipboard and a sticker, some of V's Aquarella Vintage Scrunched Seam Binding, a Maya Road leaf trinket pin, some adorable sequins, and some Tim Holtz ink.  It's a fairly simple card, but by using the darling products found at V's Sweet Ideas, making cute cards is just so easy to do!
It really would be a blessing to have you play along with us this month at V's Sweet Ideas Challenge Blog (Anything Goes) and also at Word Art Wednesday for this week's Anything Goes Challenge.  It's always such a treat to see you all linked up in these challenges, and I'm so grateful for those of you who continue to join us.  We really hope you enjoy playing along in these super fun challenges as much as we all enjoy seeing your sweet art!

Have a blessed week, and get creative!  If you need any supplies at all, feel free to swing by V's Sweet Shoppe to do a little shopping.  You WON'T be disappointed, I assure you.  I know I sure love all the goodies I've purchased from her store.  Check it out!
