Wagon Full of Spring Flowers

I hope this post finds you all having a blessed day, and having fun surfing blog land for inspiration.  I fell in love with a sweet little card by Jinny Newlin in the May edition of CARDS magazine.  It completely inspired me to make this lifted version of her masterpiece.  It's not as amazing as hers, but it was a lot of fun to make, and I just LOVE being inspired by all the talented people out there.  The entire May edition of the magazine was just stuffed FULL of darling ideas.  I will be busy for quite some time trying to recreate all the sweet things I saw.  I also have some new goodies I just bought, and I refuse to let them sit.  So....I will be creating some new things and using all these great finds in my design team projects, and other creations for challenges, gifts, and just for fun!  I am so blessed that I have the time to create.   I am so grateful to God for the life I have.

This card was made with a piece of buff ivory Bazzil that I ran through my Big Shot  inside a Cuttlebug folder that I purchased on clearance a while back at JoAnn Crafts for just one dollar.  I used some older narrow May Arts gingham ribbon, some baker's twine, natural jute, some wool felt from Wool Felt Central at Prairie Junction, some flower die-cuts from Papertrey Ink, a floral sticker from October Afternoon, and a Spring sentiment printed on vellum that I've had in my stash for about 100 years or so.  It feels good to use up some older things as well.

I'm entering the following challenges with this card:

Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog - Simon Says April Shows and/or Spring Flowers -I focused on the Spring Flowers in this wheelbarrow of flowers with Spring sentiment

Twist of Faith Cards Challenge - Challenge #32 - Getting in Shape

Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenges - Challenge #69 - Buttons and Bows

Mark's Finest Papers Simple Salutations - Challenge #40 - Add An Embellishment (and my simple sentiment is "Spring")

The Shabby Tea Room - Week #161 - Shabby Spring.  My color scheme is somewhat different from the inspiration photo, and may not "bear merit", but it is, nonetheless a Shabby Spring creation and I thought I'd share it anyway.

The Paper Shelter Challenge - #107 - Spring Delights - I hope this will "delight" someone.  It sure gave me joy to make and share it!

Our Daily Bread Designs Challenge - #149 - Other Than Square or Rectangle

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope your day is filled with happiness, joy and praise.  I sure am grateful to have you visit, and I really hope that you will all stop by and play along in the challenges this week at Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes and at V's Sweet Ideas Challenge Blog - Anything Goes this month.  We would be SO happy to see you stop by and share with us in both challenges.

Have a blessed day!
Karen
