It's the beginning of a new month, and the May Challenge at V's Sweet Ideas is a Mother's Day theme. I made this little envelope for my Mom, and I plan to tuck a letter or gift card inside and attach it to her present. Here is a list of the supplies I used from V's Sweet Ideas: I started with a Maya Road Kraft Envelope that I painted cream, and then I traced and attached some lovely floral Melissa Frances patterned paper to the front. I had to remove the tabs to do this (the tabs that hold the string), but I put them back on once the envelope was covered. Next, I added some glittered Thickers chipboard letters to spell MOM. I made a flower cut from wool felt using a PTI die-cut set, placed a Dear Lizzy brad in the center, and tied a bow made from V's gorgeous Melon Seam Binding and the final touch was a Maya Road Leaf Stick Pin.
