Celebrating Moms

It's the beginning of a new month, and the May Challenge at V's Sweet Ideas is a Mother's Day theme.  I made this little envelope for my Mom, and I plan to tuck a letter or gift card inside and attach it to her present.  Here is a list of the supplies I used from V's Sweet Ideas:  I started with a Maya Road Kraft Envelope that I painted cream, and then I traced and attached some lovely floral Melissa Frances patterned paper to the front.  I had to remove the tabs to do this (the tabs that hold the string), but I put them back on once the envelope was covered.  Next, I added some glittered Thickers chipboard letters to spell MOM.  I made a flower cut from wool felt using a PTI die-cut set, placed a Dear Lizzy brad in the center, and tied a bow made from V's gorgeous Melon Seam Binding and the final touch was a Maya Road Leaf Stick Pin.
You are allowed to enter two projects per month, and I hope that you will stop by to share with us this month at V's Sweet Ideas Challenge Blog.  You will also want to check out all the WONDERFUL products in V's Sweet Shoppe.  There are so many amazing goodies and embellishments, and shipping prices are VERY fair.  There's no end to the possibilities of what you can create with V's amazing products.  Check out the store, and stop by to play along with us!

I'm entering this card in the following challenge:

Really Reasonable Ribbon - Challenge #71 - Sparkle and Bling Plus Ribbon - My chipboard letters are glittery/sparkly (photo doesn't show it real well), and I used seam binding.

Have a blessed week, and thanks so much for stopping by today!
