For this card, I used some Chatterbox patterned papers from my stash. I don't know exactly, but I will bet that these patterned papers are at least ten years old. And yet, they just happened to match the colors of this image from the Flowers Sheet at the Crafty Secrets Shop. I used the free word art/scripture file (available now at Word Art Wednesday Challenge Blog). Both the bird image and the scripture are printed out on canvas. It runs through the printer beautifully, and in real life, it gives such a neat looking texture. You might be able to see it better if you click on the photo so that you can see it a bit closer. I bought this package of printable canvas sheets at Hobby Lobby using a 40% off coupon. I machine stitched my patterned papers together, popped on the canvas pieces, and then finished it off with a bow made with my hand-dyed scrunched seam binding. I will be sharing a tutorial (coming soon) on the Classy Cards 'N Such Blog to show you how I make this; and finally, I added a K & Co. brad to the center of my bow (which is also from my stash). It feels really good when I'm able to use up some of my older supplies.
As I said before, I really would LOVE to see what you've created this week, and really do hope that you will swing by and share your projects in our challenge at Word Art Wednesday. You won't want to miss the opportunity to win the amazing prize - a $40 gift certificate to Crafty Secrets!

Love the base colour on this card Karen, and all the layers just add to it. The canvas is a wonderful layer that adds so much texture to it.
