Cute Critters Challenge

I was really excited when I saw the theme for this week's fun new challenge at The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog.  When I think about "Cute Critters", I immediately envision adorable animals.  So, I used a really cute die-cut set from Papertrey Ink called On The Farm, and I just LOVE how this turned out.  It fits the "Cute Critters" category just perfectly (in my humble opinion).   The cute critters are cut from polka dot patterned papers (chicken and cow) and wool felt (pig and horse).  I purchase my wool felt from Prairie Point Junction/Wool Felt Central.  It comes in every color of the rainbow, and works beautifully with die-cuts.
I used some October Afternoon patterned papers and stickers, an inexpensive white doily, and the On The Farm and Wonderful Words (you) Die-Cuts from Papertrey Ink.  I machine stitched the papers together, and also added the following supplies from The Kraft Outlet:  A Tim Holtz Memo Pin, Family Tree Journaling Card (yellow), and an Ephemera Label on top of that.  The base of my card is one of the fabulous Kraft Blank Note Cards.  Additional supplies include some beautiful Prima lace, a Prima flower, and Making Memories felt letters (For), and a crocheted cream doily under the Prima flower.

There are SO MANY wonderful products available in the Kraft Outlet Store to help make card-making a breeze.  I hope you will check out the store, grab some goodies, and come play along with us in this week's challenge at The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog this week.  We'd just LOVE to see your "Cute Critters".  You will just LOVE all the items at The Kraft Outlet, you'll enjoy their quality, variety and low prices, and their shipping charges are very reasonable.  Stop by this week and treat yourself to some new goodies, and then come play along with us.

I'm sharing this card in the following challenges:

Frosted Designs Blog - Fabulous Friday Challenge - The Great Outdoors - What's more outdoors than a bunch of cute little animals?  Well, I know from being on the farm that we prefer they stay outdoors!  LOL

Simon Says Stamp Vintage Challenge Blog - Ode to Sunshine - I used the yellows to represent the colors from the sun, and also the darling little animals who live outdoors in the sunshine!

Papertake Weekly - Challenge:  Die-ing For a Punch - I LOVE using die-cuts, and this card uses several different dies!  See above for all the product details.

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card.  I love hearing your thoughts, and I look forward to visiting your blogs this week.  It's always a blessing to me to see your creativity, and I hope my card gives you a bit of inspiration to use some "Cute Critters" on your projects this week for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to The Kraft Outlet.  Everyone is welcome to join in the fun.  All you have to do in order to be eligible for the prize is to either use products sold at The Kraft Outlet or any type of Kraft paper on your project.

Have a blessed week!
