Hello my crafty friends! I'm so thankful that you've stopped by today to say hello and to take a peek at my card for this week's challenge at Word Art Wednesday. I am so grateful to have you visit, and I really hope that you will all share your art this week in our challenge. You can enter up to five projects/entries for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to Freckled Fawn.
I know that I would enter (five times) if I were eligible to win. So, if any of you know of any other challenges being sponsored by Freckled Fawn, please be sure to let me know. They are an AWESOME store and I truly LOVE all their wonderful products.
OK, so here is the card I made for this week's challenge at Word Art Wednesday. I used some October Afternoon patterned papers, a seam binding bow, a button with baker's twine, some yellow cotton lace, machine stitching, and a die-cut from Papertrey Ink that I used to cut a strip of wool felt yellow hearts that are also machine stitched to the card. The scripture is printed onto a Spellbinders die-cut and inked.
I am so thankful to have you stop by today to visit, take a peek at my card, and say hello. I look forward to visiting your blogs, and I really do hope that you will link up with us this week at Word Art Wednesday.

Lovely card, Karen. Great mix of colours and elements. And the best part of this gorgeous card is the sentiment! You use your talent to glorify Him - what a wonderful way to thank our God!

ReplyDeleteI also wanted to thank you for showcasing my card over at The Kraft Journal this week! - I was unable to leave a comment at the Kraft Journal, so I'm leaving one here.
Karen, this is a beautiful card like all the ones you make. Lovely colors and I just love how you tie those ribbons so perfectly! (:
ReplyDeleteRead your message last night about VSC. We don't have a theme yet (thanks for letting me know), because otherwise I would have never realized. I've been swamped w/both work and trying to move out of state. Spent all day yesterday packing w/my family. I'm up early, because there are a million other things to continue doing today. But no worries, I'm shooting an e-mail right now and I guess I'll have her tell you and the other girls as well!!
Wishing you a blessed day!! Xoxo
P.S. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a sweet comment!! (:
