Crafting With Dragonflies - GDT Part 2

I'm back again this week as a Guest Designer at Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge Blog.  This is my second challenge of two as their Guest Designer.  I've had so much fun sharing my art with them for these two challenges.  Their Design Team is a sweet and talented group of crafters, and you will definitely enjoy sharing your art at their sweet challenge blog.  The theme of this two-week challenge is Make Your Own "Hand-Made" Embellishments/Flowers.
Karen Letchworth for Crafting With Dragonflies
I made this card using My Mind's Eye patterned papers, a Treasured Memories sentiment sticker from JoAnn's, some machine stitching, a Tim Holtz Adage Journaling Ticket from The Kraft Outlet, narrow olive seam binding and jute for my bow, and all hand-made and hand-cut flowers and leaves made from wool felt that I purchased at Prairie Point Junction.  There are some pearl accents in the flower centers.

These flowers are SUPER easy to make, and I challenge you all to give it a try.  You just cut thin strips of wool felt using straight scissors (cutting in a spiral circle) or pinking sheers; and then you roll them and glue them with a hot glue gun or tacky glue as you roll them.  You can also use paper to make these if you don't have wool felt.  I also have a tutorial showing how to make several different styles of felt flowers here:  Karen's Felt Flower Tutorial at TKJ

I'm sharing this card in the following:
Pile It On Challenge Blog - Challenge #43 - Embellishment Crazy

Craft-Dee Bowz Challenge Blog - October Challenge - Anything Goes with ribbon or trim (which I always use), and I just KNOW that the Craft-Dee Bowz tool would really help me make more awesome bows for my projects!   I'd love to win, and always enjoy playing along!

You are a blessing to me!  I thank you for stopping by, and I praise God for your kindness and sweet comments.  Your encouraging words mean so much, and for those of you who leave a comment, I will be by to visit your blogs and say hello to each of you as well.  I'm also happy to become a new follower of anyone who would like to follow my blog.  Let's be bloggy friends!

Have a blessed week,
karen
