It's a good thing to remain grateful always. Some days, some weeks, some months are better than other for all of us. We muddle along doing what we do in life, and we often fall into a rut performing our little routines. But we need to remember, even in the "down" times, that God is SO GOOD ALL THE TIME, and we are all SO very blessed. I count my blessings often. But this week I received some very unexpected blessings. God answered prayer for me in providing a wonderful new DT Member to my team at Word Art Wednesday. As the Blog Administrator, I see people come and go (always on good terms). I never get frazzled over it. I have to trust that God knows best, and that He will always provide for us when we wait on Him for His perfect timing. I'm SO excited to share with everyone our new designer and this information is coming soon on the WAW blog. Additionally, I was a winner in two different challenges this past week. I won a new stamp at Mark's Finest Papers, and I won a $20 gift certificate to Freckled Fawn (WOO HOO!!) at Tuesday Throwdown Challenge Blog. I am SO blessed! (By the way, thank you Beth F. and Gail S. for your sweet comments regarding this. For people who have never even met me in real life, I sure am blessed to have such great friends who know me so well and look out for me. I am SO blessed! Did I already say that?)
Karen Letchworth for Word Art Wednesday |
I used some gold patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket's Tea for Two line, some ribbons and trims, gold seam binding, half a cream vintage doily, a Heidi Swapp button, some little pearls gems, a Zva Creative pearl swirl, machine stitching, and the word art/scripture is printed on a journaling card that I picked up on clearance at Michaels (I got the package of 24 journaling cards for $1.24). They work really nicely for running through the computer.
