Summer is a busy time for our family with LOTS of Birthdays. So that means I need to make a whole lot of Birthday cards because we really celebrate Birthdays in our family. I try not to forget anyone's special day, so I already know who this card will be for. I had fun making it.
I used two different October Afternoon patterned papers that I machine stitched together, three paper flowers, a white Prima leaf, green baker's twine, red and pink seam binding for my bow, a Jenni Bowlin ticket, some sequins and mini pearl stickers, and a Martha Stewart mini doily that I used to stamp my sentiment. The sentiment is a Happy Birthday stamp from Verve.
This is the challengw where I'm linking up my card:
Paula Holifield Crafts Challenge Blog - ALBC "Sew What"? Although this particular card isn't "sewing themed", it does have machine sewing/stitching on it. Straight stitch around the edges, and zig zag stitch through the center polka dot piece. I LOVE sewing on my cards - Great Challenge!
Thank you so much for stopping by to take a peel and say hello. I hope you're having a great week!
