Recalling a Favorite

As I've mentioned before, there are so many lovely shops out there where I enjoy shopping for crafting supplies.  What's even more rare is when you find one of those favorite companies that you love, which is also owned and run by a truly good person.  Such is the case at My Craft Spot by Kimberly.  The blog has tons of inspiration every day, the store is filled with the sweetest stamps, metal dies, seam binding and goodies; and what's more, it's owned by one of the sweetest and most genuine gals you'll ever meet - sweet Kimberly.  It just makes you feel good being a part of something so real.  So, for this week's challenge at My Craft Spot the theme is to share a card from the past using one of more of My Craft Spot's sweet products.
I made this card a while back and I've since used it to give to a friend for her Birthday.  I love having a glassine bag on the front of a card to tuck a gift card inside.  It's the perfect touch.  The items I used from My Craft Spot are the Small Bow Tie Die-Cut and the Black Baker's Twine.

My Craft Spot by Kimberly - Challenge #152 - Blast From The Past" - I used a couple of favorites from My Craft Spot including my ALL-TIME FAVORITE, the Small Bow Metal Tie which I cut from black chalkboard papers, as well as their sweet Black Baker's Twine.

For those of you who have been following my sister-in-law, Audra's, progress, she is having a week off from chemo therapy and radiation because her white blood count is too low for further treatment.  To be perfectly honest, she is happy to have a whole week at home with her husband and children.  She is fighting SO hard, and we are still trusting God for a miracle.

Thanks for visiting me today, and have a wonderful and creative week!
Blessings to you,
Karen

A Sweet Sketch at The Kraft Journal

It's time for fun new Sketch Challenge this week, and I was really inspired by this sweet sketch.  I started this sweet card with a Buff/Ivory Note Card, and I covered it with coordinating Buff/Ivory Cover Weight Card Stock and a Making Memories patterned paper that I inked and machine stitched together.
Karen Letchworth for The Kraft Journal
Next, I placed a Mini Notebook Merchandise Bag on the patterned paper and then placed a small inked mat which I die-cut from a piece of Buff/Ivory Cover Weight Card Stock and then added a 3-D Crate Paper embellishment onto that.  Inside the Mini Notebook Merchandise Bag I placed a journaling card from the Jenni Bowlin Mini Deck Basics Set.  I also attached a small Tim Holtz paper rusty paperclip to the journaling card.  Next, I ran a length of Blush Colored Hand-Stained Bias Tape across the card and also created a bow with it.  At the bottom of the card, I added some Jenni Bowlin Office Chipboard Buttons with Natural Hemp Cord in their centers, and a Vintage Style Ticket underneath them in the middle.  I enjoyed this sweet sketch, and I think you will too.  It's very basic and be flipped or altered to suit your personal style.  To play along at The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog, the only requirement is to use either product(s) from the Kraft Outlet, or any kraft paper (i.e. kraft paper, kraft paper lunch bag, toilet paper or paper towel roll, etc.)

It's a really sweet sketch, and I'm sure you will have fun with it.  Stop on by and link up a card this week at The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog.  You could be the lucky winner of our monthly prize of a $15 gift certificate to the Kraft Outlet, or one of our weekly prizes of being a Featured Friday Artist, or Top 3 Winner.

I'm sharing my card here:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog - Simon Says "Tag It" - I love adding a tag to cards, and I actually use this idea quite often.  I added a mini bag that holds a journaling tag.  You can also use the bag to add a gift card, and having the tag inside allows you to write a note when giving the card and gift.

Have a blessed week,
Karen

Inspirations Past Part II

Well, ever since I finished my fun October Afternoon card and got it posted on my blog yesterday, I've been "itching" to make a matching tag to use as a gift card holder for this extra special card.  I used pretty much all the same supplies as on my original card.  Here it all is again for you (just in case you didn't see yesterday's post).  See just below this photo.
I used lots of October Afternoon (both 5 and Dime, Sidewalks and bits of others) on this card along with some Wagon Red Bazzill cardstock, 5 and Dime blackboard Wagon Square, Tim Holtz Barn Door Red ink, Tim Holtz Charcoal Ink, ), some mini tags cut from die-cuts held in place with a sweet rusty pear-shaped safety pin, toothpick and flag from October Afternoon, Mini Kraft Mertchandise Bag (to hold a gift card), and a Hobby Lobby rub-on for the Happy Birthday sentiment.
Thanks for taking a peek at my tag.  If you happened to miss my post from yesterday explaining the origin and inspiration for this card, please check my post to read about the original artist who inspired this card Kristi Lockhart.  I still prefer her sweet card over my own.  It's just too sweet!

I'm sharing this tag in the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenges - Simon Says "TAG IT" - I made this sweet matching tag with mini kraft merchandise bag (to hold a gift card) and this tag (posted above) matches a card I made and posted yesterday.  I now have the complete gift set for this sweet and special project!

Have a blessed week, my crafty friends!

Recreating From Inspiraton Past

There was a card that I saw several years ago made by a talented crafter named Kristi Lockart.  I fell it love with it immediately, and have looked at it (in awe) many times since then.  Each time I look at it, I think to myself, "I really want to re-create this adorable card, but I don't have the correct supplies.  You see, Kristi is part of the Design Team at Pink Persimmon Stamps.  The little girl and wagon that she put on her card are sweet Persimmon Stamps.  I thought over the years that eventually I'd buy this stamp set and finally recreate the card, but I never did.  I looked at it again this week, and just decided to make it work.  Instead of the Pink Persimmon girl and wagon, I used more pieces from October Afternoon (various lines).  I added a little girl from the Sidewalks line, and pretty much everything else is from October Afternoon's darling 5 and Dime collection.  It's definitely different from Kristi's card, but the basic idea was hers.  I always love to give credit where credit is due.  Kristi really motivated me on this, so I had to mention her.  You can check out her lovely blog here:  Sincerely Yours by Kristi LockartThe original card that inspired me can be found here:  On Pinterest (as well as Kristi's original June 1, 2011 post)
I've always been a big fan of October Afternoon.  I own more of it than I do of any other company, and that's say A LOT.  One reason why I own SO much of it (well, besides the fact that I LOVE IT and I can't stop collecting it) is because I get to attend the October Afternoon Warehouse Sale every year in Apple Valley, Minnesota so I get amazingly low prices on it.  I've been waiting to hear when it will be held this year (it's almost always in October), and I will fly to my BFF's house to visit and attend the sale along with lots of creating, antiquing and fun.  It's my "happy trip" of the year, and I'm so thankful and blessed that my husband sends me on this trip every year.

Don't you just love this sweet 5 and Dime line?  I used lots of it on this card along with some Wagon Red Bazzill cardstock, Tim Holtz Barn Door Red ink, luscious Caribbean Blue crinkled seam binding, red baker's twine, a vintage gem, ruler ribbon and vintage cream lace (both at bottom), some mini tags cut from die-cuts and held in place with a sweet rusty pear-shaped safety pin.  The finished card has a Happy Birthday sentiment stamped inside.

I'm sharing this card in the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenges - "Simon Says Tag It" - The TAGS I used are two mini hang tags that I die-cut and added mini sentiments to them (they're both rub-ons - FRIENDS and carefree).   I hope that my mini tags meet the "TAG IT" requirements.

My Craft Spot by Kimberly Challenge Blog - Challenge #151 - "Chalkboard Art" - I used the adorable chalkboard patterned papers from October Afternoon in my background and I inked them on the edges with white chalk ink.  I also made a chalkboard mini tag that I die-cut from chalkboard paper, added a white rub-on and inked the edges of that with white chalk ink.  I LOVE the chalk art effect.

Thanks so much for visiting me today and for listening to my long story about this card.  I'm so grateful to have you stop by and I look forward to visiting you all this week!

Blessings,
Karen

Day Dreaming

I'm Day Dreaming again......hurray!  I don't always have time to get on the computer and play with my sweet Daydream Designs images, but I sure do enjoy myself when I do.  This card was made with the super sweet new Preserving Sweetness Set.  I used the Strawberry Preserves and the coordinating Strawberry Sweetness Plaid Patterned Paper.  I also threw in a few chipboard elements from Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird collection because they matched so nicely.
I added some green jute which I tied around the jar, and I also placed some tiny gem stickers in the centers of the chipboard flowers.  There are a couple different snippets of ribbon stapled to the side, and of course I machine stitched the card (as I most always do).

I'm entering my card in the following challenges:

Sketch Saturday - Week #327 Sponsored by Simon Says Stamp

Our Daily Bread Designs - Challenge #213 - Stitch It - This is my third entry and doesn't use any ODBD products, but my other two entries do use their products.  I always LOVE stitching on my cards!

Have a blessed day, and thanks so much for stopping by to say hello.

Tag, You're It!! at The Kraft Journal

This week at The Kraft Journal, we have a really fun challenge for everyone called "Tag, You're It".  You can translate this challenge however you wish. If it inspires you to create a tag, or to add a tag on your card or scrapbook layout, those are all great ideas.  You simply need to use any product(s) sold at The Kraft Outlet OR any kraft product (i.e. paper bag, kraft paper, cardboard, etc.)  We look forward to seeing how this week's "Tag, You're It" Challenge will inspire YOU!
For me, I chose to create a fun Christmas tag.  I started with a piece of Lunch Bag Kraft Cover Weight Card Stock and then, using my handy dandy Bone Folder Tool I added a Bo-Bunny Christmas rub-on.  I always use my Bone Folder Tool when applying rub-ons because it distributes the weight evenly, and gets even those "difficult" rub-ons to glide on with ease.  FYI, it's also great for making crisp folds in your paper.  I also inked all the edges of my paper with my Tim Holtz Barn Red Ink.  Once I had my tag cut and the rub-on applied, I added a big fluffy bow made of Christmas Red and Vintage Winter White Hand-Stained Bias Tape.  To the bow, I added some sweet rusty bells from Factory Direct (really the best quality rusty bells you can find), and tied them with a length of Natural Hemp Cord.  The finishing touch to my tag was the sentiment.  Again, I used my Bone Folder Tool to add the Bo-Bunny rub-on Merry Christmas sentiment to a piece of Lunch Bag Kraft Cover Weight Card Stock, and it is held in place with a Tim Holtz Memo Pin.

I am so grateful that you have stopped by to take a peek at my little Christmas tag, and I'd sure love to have each of you stop by to share your art in our challenge this week at The Kraft Journal.  It's always more fun when everyone is able to play along.

I'm going to share my tag in these challenges this week:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog - Simon Says "Create Your Own Background" - This is the perfect project for this challenge.  The "background" is the project - simply a piece of kraft paper with a rub-on, that's it!

Blessings Ink - Amusing Challenge - Tags - This is my sweet little Christmas tag

Thanks so much for stopping by to say hello, and have a great week!

Happy Birthday Blessings

I had a lot of fun creating this card because I was able to combine several fun challenge requirements into one card.  My crafting time this week has been super therapeutic for me, and has helped me to focus on what's really important.  SO many fun products and techniques were combined, and I absolutely LOVE it!  There's machine stitching, die-cuts, stamping, mini pearl stickers, lace, and flowers just to name a few things.  It helps keep my mind off the things going on with my precious sister-in-law, Audra.  Your prayers for her are greatly appreciated!
Cheery Lynn Designs - Challenge #149 - All About Texture - I used a dry embossing background that I touched with color to create this fun texturized background, and then added the Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily Die-Cut as the backdrop, and also the word Blessings from the Blessings Set of 2 Set.  Lots of flowers, pearls and layers of texture.

Our Daily Bread Stitch It Challenge - I always enjoy machine stitching on my cards.  For this card, I added a dry embossed background, and then added the Our Daily Bread Three Butterflies stamp in the corner of the doily, as well as the Happy Birthday sentiment from the ODBD Happy Birthday Set.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Make Your Own Background - I created my background using a dry embossing technique dusted with color, and then added my embellishments to that.

Charisma Cardz Challenge Blog - Challenge #20 - Lace and Pearls - I used tiny pearl stickers and lace across the bottom of my card as well as a lace tab at the top left.

Scrapbook Blessings Club - Challenge #29 - Anything Goes/Optional Wiper Card Option - I am happy to say that now I know what a wiper card is, and I am going to give it a try.  Thanks for a great challenge.

What a blessing to have you stop by my blog to visit and say hello.  I'm really grateful and I hope that you are having a wonderful week.  Here's a tidbid of advice....never pass up an opportunity to tell someone you love them.  You never know when that opportunity will no longer be an option.

Blessings,
Karen

Scripture, Stitching and Spiritual Uplifting

Many of you are aware of the struggles our family is facing right now as we pray to the Lord and ask for a miracle in my sister, Audra's life.  We have complete faith that God is able to do a miracle, and we give Him ALL the praise for the many ways He continues to bless us and answer our prayers.  Life has been incredibly busy to say the least.  But having the opportunity to create cards using scripture is such a blessing and a comfort at this difficult time.  God blesses and comforts my heart as I create cards using His precious Word.  So when I saw this challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs, I knew it was right up my alley, and that I would enjoy playing along.
Our Daily Bread Designs - Challenge #213 - Stitch It - Machine stitching is my most favorite accent on cards and projects,  and I really had fun with this one.  I used the ODBD Seed Packet Stamp Set to create this card.  I purchased it quite some time ago, and just never used it until now.  I stamped it in Black Soot Tom Holtz Ink, and used a kraft card background and added a Chatterbox patterned paper background that I machine stitched to the paper.  I colored the ODBD seed packet stamp with my Copic markers, and then machine stitched it all down.  I added a baker's twine bow with a button center.  I absolutely LOVE Our Daily Bread Stamps and dies, and it was SO therapeutic for me to create using the scripture and these beautiful stamps.

Faith, Hope and Love Scripture Challenge - Scripture and Celebration -  I am celebrating the fact that our AWESOME GOD is able to heal my sister.  We're waiting for a miracle, an we will praise His name in ANY circumstance.

Divas By Design Challenge Blog - Anything Goes - I was super excited to play along in this fun challenge, and I hope to make the rounds and meet their DT and make some new blog friends!

Scrapbook Blessings Club - Challenge #29 - Anything Goes - I haven't ever made a wiper card, but I'm certainly looking into it!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenges - Make Your Own Background - I enjoyed making this background.  I used a stamp from ODBD and colored it with Copics.  Then I machine stitched it to a piece of kraft paper to create my background.

Thanks so much for stopping by to say hello and take a peek at my card.  I would really appreciate your prayers for my sister, Audra, as she fights for her life.  It's been one week today since they told her she had two weeks to live, and she's still strong (both physically and in her faith).  We serve an AWESOME GOD!

God bless you all,
Karen

Anything Goes at Word Art Wednesday

Family is SO important to all of us.  We are all blessed by the love of our parents and siblings, as well as by the cousins, aunts and uncles who help shape our lives.  In our house right now, we are feeling a BIG pinch as one of dearest family members fights for her life.  Some of you have heard me mention that my husband's little sister, Audra (42), has brain cancer.  Well, this past week we learned that Audra's cancer has spread through her bones and into her liver.  She's in the capable hands of some of the best physicians in the world at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.  They've told her that life expectancy is between two weeks and two months.  This is NOT what any of us wanted to hear.  While the tumor in her brain has shrunk down to almost nothing; the cancer has spread elsewhere in her body.  She is now undergoing very aggressive chemo therapy, and we are praying for the very best knowing that God still performs miracles every day.  If you are a person of prayer, I would ask that you please pray for Audra - that God might heal her and allow her to spend more time with her husband, Rob, and her precious little children Tomas, Andres, Isaias and Audranna (ages 4-9).  If you are able to help financially AT ALL, here is a link to help with her surmounting medical bills which are already well over $500,000.  ANY help is greatly appreciated.  I don't consider Audra a Sister-in-Law; she is my sister, and one of the best friends I've ever had.  I cannot imagine life without her.

Our challenge this week at Word Art Wednesday is sure to be another fun one for everybody who plays along.  We have two amazing prizes again this week.  Crafty Ribbons and Freckled Fawn are our sponsors this week, and you could be the winner of a gift certificate to one of these two wonderful craft stores.  Stop by and share your art with us.  You are welcome to share up to five (5) projects per week, and as always Anything Goes following our simple challenge rules.  We would love to have you play along with us.
I created my card using some Cosmo Cricket Dutch Girl patterned papers from my stash.  I used three of the patterned papers as well as a punch-out tag, some red chevron washi tape from Hobby Lobby, some Prima flowers, jute, and a Jenni Bowlin embellishment in the center of the flower.  I machine stitched some of the papers and inked the edges with Tim Holtz ink.  I used a Martha Stewart punch on the border near the bottom.

I'm sharing my card here:
Virginia's View Challenge #7 - Patterned Papers - While I've never won at Virginia's View, I was drawn by the words posted there stating that "we all buy patterned papers, and then we hoard them".  It struck home with me, and since this card was made with patterned papers that are from my SUPER OLD STASH, I just had to enter it.  I can' only hope for the best and give it a try.

Classy Cards 'N Such - Challenge #49 - Stripes, Dots and Chevrons - I used a CHEVRON washi tape on my card.  The item I used from Classy Cards 'N Such is the 1/2" Scor Tape and it's one of my FAVORITE products.  They carry it in several different widths, and it's absolutely a wonderful, MUST-HAVE product!

Scrapbook Blessings Club - Challenge #29 - Anything Goes - I don't know how to make a "wiper card" but they sure look cute!

Please stop by to share your art with us this week at Word Art Wednesday, and PLEASE remember to pray for Audra and her family.  If you re able to help financially, even the smallest amount would be a tremendous blessing.

Happy Crafting!

Anything Goes at The Kraft Journal

I always enjoy a good Anything Goes Challenge, and this week that's exactly what we have planned for you at The Kraft Journal.  It's always a great week to play along when there's an Anything Goes Challenge because you can share whatever you happen to be working on, and we look forward to seeing it all.  To qualify for the $15 monthly Kraft Outlet prize, you need to use either something sold at The Kraft Outlet, or any kraft product (i.e. paper bag, kraft paper, etc.).  Then you can spend that $15 prize at The Kraft Outlet which is filled with all sorts of great crafting products.
To make my card for this fun challenge, I grabbed a Small Lunch Bag Kraft Note Card and attached a piece of inked and machine stitched October Afternoon patterned paper.  Next, I added half of a vintage cream doily and a sweet Mini Polka Dot Kraft Merchandise Bag.  I tucked a journaling card from the Jenni Bowlin Vintage Mini Deck Basics into the Mini Polka Dot Kraft Merchandise Bag and placed a Tim Holtz miniature rusty paper clip on it.  You can find lots of great Tim Holtz products at the Kraft Outlet.
I added a sweet little bow made from blue and Vintage Winter White Hand-Stained Bias Tape, and on my bow I placed a button with Natural Hemp Cord in its center.  The sentiment I used is a Melissa Frances rub-on that I adhered to a sticker taken from the Jenni Bowlin Memo Book.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I really hope that you will stop by to play along with us this week for your chance at the monthly prize of a $15 gift certificate to the Kraft Outlet, and the weekly prize of being a Featured Artist or Top 3 recipient.  Happy crafting!

God bless you!

Lovely Glassine Bags From TKJ

Hello crafty friends of The Kraft Journal!  Today is my turn to share the Watch Us Wednesday segment, and I'm going to share some really fun ideas for using the Kraft Outlet's sweet and versatile Small Glassine Bags.  These adorable little bags have always been one of my favorite items to use on cards, in mini albums, and just about anywhere!  Here are a couple of great ideas for using them on YOUR projects.
This first card was created using a Small Buff Ivory Notecard and adding some Simple Stories patterned papers, stickers, machine stitching and coordinating embellishments.  The word "Be" was die-cut from a scrap of Buff/Ivory Cover Weight Cardstock.  I used the Small Glassine Bag on this card as a gift card holder.  This is an idea I use a lot because it allows you to give someone a nice hand-made card and you can tuck a gift card (or cash) inside the Small Glassine Bag.  There are so many ways to use these adorable little bags; and the best news of all is that they are only $2 for a package of 25 envelopes.  That comes out to only EIGHT CENTS EACH!!
My second card again starts with a Small Buff/Ivory Note Card that I covered with patterned papers and embellishments.  On this card, I used the Small Glassine Bag to create a little "shaker envelope" and I tucked some color coordinated sequins inside.  My sentiment "be happy" is secured with a Tiny Wooden Clothes Pin.
There's really no limit to all the creative ways you can use these sweet little Glassine Bags; and as I mentioned, at only EIGHT CENTS EACH they are an incredible bargain.  I encourage you to stop by the Kraft Outlet to check out these, and all the great crafting supplies we offer.  There's something for everyone!

I'm sharing my cards here:
City Crafter - Challenge #227 - I Can See Clearly - I used clear vellum/glassine bags

Happy Crafting,
Karen

Word Art Wednesday Fun

Here we are again - smack dab in the middle of the week, which means it's time for another super fun challenge at Word Art Wednesday.  This week, like every other week, we have two amazing sponsors with us.  Our first sponsor for this week is Docerela Stamps, and one person will receive their choice of any stamp set from their lovely shop.  And second, another lucky entry will receive three sets of choice from the lovely Cutting Café.  You are welcome to stop by and share up to five projects with us - any style, any theme (just follow our friendly rules).  It's easy and fun, and YOU could be one of our lucky winners.
My DT sample card for this week was made using some older supplies from Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl line.  I bought a lot of this several years ago at a store called Robert's Crafts in St. George, Utah.  Robert's was always one of my super fun "go-to" stores that I'd routinely visit when my hubby took us to St. George for the day.  All but one of my favorite "go-to" scrapping stores in St. George are now closed (including Robert's).  I purchased all this Cosmo Cricket Material Girl stuff on a 75% off clearance.  Needless to say, I have a bit of it.  There's something really rewarding about creating from your stash.  Don't you think?

I took two of the patterned papers and machine stitched them together, and I printed the scripture/word art file onto a coordinating journaling card from the Material Girl line.  Then, I added a few chipboard flowers from the set, and a bow that I made from ripped material.  Pretty simple card.  And since I already had these lovely supplies out on my table, I decided to create two additional cards with them.
My second card has a Melissa Frances rub-on sentiment.  Everything else about the card is very similar to the first.  This Material Girl line from Cosmo Cricket has some really cute chipboard pieces including the flowers on my first two cards.
The third card (above) follows the same basic idea, but I used even more of the cute chipboard on this card including the dress form and the little girl.  I also used some sponsor images on this first card.  The Cutting Café carries lots of great cutting files as well as printable stamp sets.  I used one of the dresses, the purse, and a hat from their sweet All About Girls Printable Stamp Set.

I really hope that you will stop by to share your projects with us this week.  We'd LOVE to have you play along, and you will really enjoy our warm fellowship.  And.....you could win some really amazing prizes.  We hope to see YOU at Word Art Wednesday this week.

Blessings to you,
Karen

Circles, Spots and Dots at V's Sweet Ideas

It's the first of the new month, and that always means a fun new challenge at the SWEETEST shoppe and challenge blog around....V's Sweet Ideas.  This month we are having a "Circles, Spots and Dots Challenge" where you can share any projects you'd like as long as they have some round element on them.  That's easy enough.
V's Sweet Shoppe is truly filled with the sweetest craft items you can imagine.  I started my card with a Buff/Ivory Note Card and attached some older Pebbles, Inc. patterned papers which I machine stitched together to layer.  I cut a hole in the center of my card and added a Stampin' Up Sweet Cup which is an adorable little plastic window.  I filled it with some of the sweetest sequins from V's Sweet Ideas.  V's sequins come in a variety of soft sweet colors, and sell for just $1 per package.  I used the Blue De France Sequins, Seafoam Blue Sequins, Turquoise Sequins, and Royal Blue Sequins inside the window.  I also used V's Sweet Dots including the Twinkle Sweet Dots in blue, as well as the Seafoam Sweet Dots in two of the shades.  I made a big fluffy Crinkle Ribbon bow at the bottom using some May Arts Crinkle Ribbon, and I tied some Caribbean Turquoise Solid Twine around my stamped sentiments.  LOTS of V's Sweet Shoppe goodness going on here.
Inside View of Card
This photo (above) is the inside view of the card.  You will see that I added a sentiment to the inside of my card as well as to the front/outside of the card.  Both of these stamped sentiments are from an adorable My Craft Spot by Kimberly stamp set.  I stamped them on Buff/Ivory Cardstock and backed them with coordinating patterned paper which is inked.  I wrapped the Caribean Turquoise Blue Solid Twine around the paper, and added some of V's Sweet Dots to include LOTS of circles on my project.  My other "round" elements are the turquoise patterned paper, the doily, the sweet cup, and the sequins.

I really hope that you will stop by V's Sweet Ideas and treat yourself to some sequins or other lovely products from the shop.  We'd also love to have you play along in this month's CIRCLES Challenge.  The prize this month is a gift certificate to V's Sweet Ideas.  That's definitely a prize worth playing for, don't you think?  I know that I sure do enjoy V's sweet products.

I'm linking up my card in the following challenges:
