Birthday Cards With Really Reaonable Ribbon

Well, if you're anything like me, you are constantly in need of BIRTHDAY CARDS.  For this reason, I often choose to "stock up" and make a few ahead of time.  That way, when I need one, I can quickly go to my stash and not have to stress out about having one when it's needed.  Really Reasonable Ribbon makes it SO easy to do this.
All it really takes to re-create this card are two patterned papers.  One is a background (I used a peachy/orange polka dot) and a coordinating floral or patterned paper (mine is a small floral print).  We all have those on hand, right?  You simply layer the patterned papers, ink them, and machine stitch them down.  Next, you run some trims length-wise on your card.  I used a length of the following ribbons and trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon cascading down the card length-wise:  Moss Green Leaf Trim, Juliet Natural Crochet Lace, Burlap Natural String/Jute and Burlap String Ivory.  There's also a bow made of these lovely Burlap String/Jute Trims as well as a cluster of flowers, a printed image and a antique-stained tag with rub-on sentiment.  You can see how Really Reasonable Ribbon makes it SO easy and affordable to create a quick and easy Birthday Card for YOUR stash.
The second card is equally as easy to recreate.  I used the same two patterned papers and alternated them this time.  The floral is the base, and the polka dot is the layered piece.  The two papers were inked and machine stitched together.  The sentiment is a printed tag, and it is tied with the Natural Burlap String and Ivory Burlap String.  Along the length of card, you will find a piece of Moss Green Netting, a piece of Juliet Natural Crochet Lace and also the Burlap Strings repeat here as well.  Very simple to do, and again......Really Reasonable Ribbon makes it easy and affordable.

We hope that you will treat yourself to some lovely new trims, and then come play along in our current challenge.  We always enjoy seeing your sweet creations.

I'll be sharing my cards here:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Something New - I used LOTS of new things on these cards including the patterned papers, image tags and the ribbons/trims.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Make New Friends But Keep The Old - I used ALL new supplies, but went to my "good old" signature move which is machine stitching my cards.  Thanks for a really fun challenge!

Until next time,

Karen
