How blessed are we? Really! God is just SO good to us. I hope that you will take time today to reflect on ALL that God has done for you, and just take a moment to count your many blessings, and thank Him for everything good in your life. After all, EVERYTHING good comes from Him and we should be grateful. At Word Art Wednesday, we are especially blessed again this week. We have THREE amazing sponsors who are offering wonderful prizes to our participants. This week, we have V's Sweet Ideas offering a $10 Gift Certificate to their ADORABLE shop. I just LOVE their sequins, embellishments, stamps and SO much more. We also have Robyn's Fetish, our digital sponsor, offering three of their beautiful images to another winner, and finally, we have Lilla Rose hair clips, through Consultant Elizabeth Williams, who is offering a gorgeous hair clip from the Lilla Rose collection. What fun prizes. We really hope you will stop by to play along. As always, Anything Goes as long as you keep it family friendly.
For my card, I used an October Afternoon patterned paper for the background, and I printed the word art/scripture on a piece o vellum paper, which I machine stitched to that background. I placed a tiny Tim Holtz Rusty Paper Clip in the upper right-hand corner, and (you know me).....I couldn't possibly stop there! I added a big bow of hand-stained seam binding and a gorgeous Petaloo Sugared Flower on it, as well as some Brown Leaves for accent.
I will be sharing my card in the following challenges:
Faith, Hope and Love Scripture Challenge
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - "A Is For.....April Flowers" - although April or not, I love using flowers!
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "April Showers And/or Spring Flowers" - I love using flowers, April or any time!
Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by, and please be sure to play along in our challenge this week at Word Art Wednesday. We always LOVE having you join us.
Blessings,
Karen

Ha! You're right! It's always a good time to use flowers! And I really like how it turned out on this card. I thought it was clever of you to combine the linear grid-like patterned paper with the soft script and elegant flower. I also love that sweet little paperclip in the corner! The whole thing came together beautifully and I'm so glad you shared this with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful words/scripture. It is gorgeous my friend
