It's time for our June Challenge at V's Sweet Ideas; and this month, our challenge theme is "What's Your Favorite Technique?" Whatever your favorite technique may be.....whether it's stamping, adding ribbon, embossing, or whatever tickles your fancy - this challenge is for YOU! As you may have often noticed, my "go to" technique is always SEWING! Here's a close-up photo of my favorite technique:
I tend to machine stitch the majority of my cards and mini albums. I think it just gives my projects a warm, homespun look that I enjoy. So, for my project this month; I used a project from a previous post and made it into a card and added some machine stitching to it. I used a little wood-stained mini pocket/envelope into which I tucked a Starbucks gift card. I used a sweet stamp set from V's Sweet Ideas called the "Coffee Break" Stamp Set, and I also embellished it with some Solid Green Twine and sweet Sequins. There are LOTS of great supplies in V's Sweet Shoppe, and I hope you will check out the store, and then come play along with us in this month's Favorite Technique Challenge.
We look forward to seeing your creations, and really hope that you will play along. One lucky person will win a $15 gift certificate to V's Sweet Ideas, and THAT is a prize WELL worth playing for. Please come by to join us!
I'm sharing this card in the following challenges:
