Guest Designing at Scrappy Moms

Today I'm sharing a post with a couple of projects I made using some of the stamps from Scrappy Mom's most recent release.  They have oodles and oodles of adorable stamp sets in their sweet shop; but for right now, these are their two newest sets that I will be featuring over the weekend, and into the first part of next week for their new release.  You can get even more information on the Scrappy Moms Blog.  Here are their new stamp sets:
This first set (above) is called "Warts Up", and I do have a sweet little candy project I'll be sharing on my next post using this set.  But for today, I am sharing two projects (a card and a tag) that I made using Scrappy Moms' other new set.  Here's a peek at that new set:
This second set is called "Homeland Heroes".  While it's a very patriotic set to celebrate our heroes in the Armed Forces, I made these two projects below using this second set that are not, in any way, patriotic.  I do, however, also have an AIR FORCE card using this set that I made, and will be posting during my Guest Design spot with Scrappy Moms.  So, be sure to check back later this weekend, and even into Monday and Tuesday so that you don't miss any of the three separate posts I'll be making to show you all that I've made with these two new sets from Scrappy Moms Stamps.
This first project was a little tag that I created using the Missing You Today & Every Day stamp from this set.  I used a Simple Stories tag, and just added the sentiment to the top, and also added some stamped stars that I cut out and placed in the bow at the top.  I like that you can use this stamp set with versatility to create different themed projects with just one set.
My second project was this little card,  Again, I chose to use the sentiment "Thank You For All You Do" which also showcases this set in a different manner than what you would originally expect from this stamp.  It really is nice to be able to use a patriotic set on every-day cards.  Isn't this sweet?

Well, thanks for stopping by today to take a peek.  Be sure to stop back by to see the rest of my projects from Scrappy Moms; and don't forget to stop by their blog to see all the other inspiring projects from their Design Team.  There's lots more to come, so please check back again.  I enjoy your sweet visits, and appreciate you kind comments.

Happy creating!
Blessings to you,
Karen
