My Favorite Things at CropStop

I love making cards!  Don't you?  It's just so much fun when you're able to pop a card in the mail; knowing that it was made with tender loving care by you!  It doesn't matter whether you're sending a Birthday Card (like this one), a Sympathy Card, Anniversary, etc.  You just feel good sending your own hand-made cards to the people you love.  Well, that's a really fun thing about CropStop.  They have so many awesome items that are just super helpful for crafting.  From stamps to inks, and dies to papers, embellishments and SO much more - CropStop is a great place to shop.
This Birthday Card was made using some patterned papers from my stash, some striped and some floral washi tape, half a white doily, some Prima leaves, Doodlebug pearl gem stickers, machine stitching, a stamped sentiment that's stamped using Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress InkIvory Burlap String, a Tim Holtz Decorative Paper Clip, and.....those BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS!
These pretty flowers were cut from wool felt using a My Favorite Things Floral Die-Cut.  CropStop carries several different die-cuts from My Favorite Things (among several other great companies).  This one is called Loopy Blooms.  They're all just SO much fun to use, and create the sweetest flowers that give your cads and projects great dimension.

We have a great new challenge starting this Wednesday on the CropStop Blog.  There's also a big GIVE-AWAY taking place on the blog.  There's always something fun happening there, and we'd love for you to be a part of it.  Please stop by and link up in our Current Challenge to have the chance to win some great CropStop supplies for yourself.

  1. Karen, your card is beautiful. I agree with you about the homemade card, but I only send it to those who I know will appreciate it. If I don't think they are "card worthy" I may buy a card or make a quicky. Some people believe because you make your cards that they are cheap which is also not the case as we all know our ribbon and flowers can cost a bundle depending on how much you use besides the papers and how many layers. It is not a cheap hobby, but rewarding and I am willing to spend it on those that I feel deserve a unique, individualized and creative project.
