Oh, my heart be still! When I saw the GORGEOUS and super delicious color inspiration over on Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog, I immediately knew that I wanted to play along. How delicious in this color combo?
I used Crate Paper products, and I added in some sea foam green to the mix. I do have to say, however, that the gold, cream and pink blush colors are super YUMMY! I inked and machine stitched my patterned papers, added some Crate Paper ephemera, chipoard, and other embellishments, some gorgeous Solid Mint Baker's Twine, sequins in the inspiration colors, and a Melissa Frances rub-on sentiment (happy birthday). I also used some vintage scotch tape (which is running low, and I can't find ANYWHERE - BOO HOO!!!)

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Love Is In The Air - This isn't a Valentine's Day card (obviously), but it's a birthday card for someone I love VERY much.....my lovely niece. In our family, birthdays are always a celebraion of LOVE!

ReplyDeleteI simply adore this card! It has your trademark style and attention to all those fabulous details. LOVE the stitching effects that you incorporated. The color palette is dreamy and made me hungry for sherbet or gelato or something equally divine! And wow! Who knew there even was vintage scotch tape?
