Take a deep breath. All the stress of the holidays is behind us. We can all relax, and just get back to our normal, crazy busy every day lives. It's normal to be crazy busy. Please don't ever think you're alone in that. We all have our schedules, our responsibilities, our ups and our downs. Yet, it's ok to just take a deep breath; knowing that God has everything under control. No more stress, my friends. This is the year to just give it all to Him, and enjoy the journey. That is my wish for everyone in 2016. And please know that you're never alone in life's journey. God will ALWAYS be there when you need Him. And for whatever it's worth to you, I'm here, too. I love to pray for others, and would be honored to do so for any of you who ask. We need to help each other get through the hard times, rejoice together in the good times, and pray for each other during this journey we call life.
So, on to my card. I created this card last night. I got out my favorite supplies - Crate Paper. I used Confetti patterned papers and a wooden piece (for the birthday sentiment), as well as a sticker (the 3-D birthday party hat). I followed this sketch from Sketch Saturday, inked the edges, added some baker's twine, and that's it!
Sketch Saturday - Challenge #394 - I think this sketch is so cute with the slant at the bottom. It's something I would never have thought of doing without this inspiration.Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Something New" - For me, that's a totally new technique. I needed this sketch to truly challenge myself. And, I also used a brand new paper pad on this card.
Classy Cards 'N Such - Challenge #119 - "Bright and Cheerful" - Isn't it always fun to use bright, cheery colors? Especially for a birthday card.
Thanks so much for your visit to my blog today. I greatly appreciate your comments, and please know that I meant what I said about praying. I care about you, and appreciate you. I really mean that. Have an awesome week.
Blessings to you,
Karen
