What a lovely gift-giving idea. I saw this tutorial over on the Papertrey Ink Blog, and I've been wanting to create one all week, I just didn't have time until late last night. I made it just the right size to tuck in the cute, small Starbucks gift card.
I just took some red cardstock to create the matchbook cover, and then added a PTI die-cut (love), and the smallest heart from the PTI heart die-cut set, I also added some decorative patterned paper on the edge, and a 3-D heart.
I'm playing along in the challenge at PTI, and there's just a little time left if you want to give it a try and play along as well.
Make It Monday #237 - Parpertrey Ink's Matchbook Valentine's Tutorial - I made mine just big enough for a Starbucks gift card, and I used two different PTI dies. The gift card just slides right in, and I created a pocket for it inside. Super cute, fun project!
Faith, Hope and Love - I is For "I Love You" - I used hearts and the word "love", and I LOVE STARBUCKS!! So does my daughter, and this is for her to let her know "I love you" at Valentine's and always.
