Pretty Shaker Card

I had SO much fun making my last shaker card project that I just had to create another one. I attached some sequins to a piece of vellum behind a chipboard frame.  The patterned papers I used are Crate Paper, and I also used some vintage sheet music, machine stitching, and some pink and black baker's twine.
At the bottom left, I made a flower that included a wool felt stem cut from a Papertrey Ink die-cut, some Prima lace, and a pink button with DMC floss run through the center.  The (happy) sentiment is a tag from Heidi Swapp.  That's about it.   You will have SO much fun with these gorgeous sequin mixes.....they're the sweetest!

I'm entering my card in this fun Shaker Card challenge:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Shake It Up"

Blessings to you all for a happy weekend!

  1. This is really pretty, Karen! Love your musical paper with the strip of happy florals, and the texture you added with the lace and felt! Thanks so much for joining us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!

  2. What a beautiful card Karen - love your shaker element, and the pink and black twine just ties the whole together! (pun intended)

  3. Just beautiful. The patterns are so complementary and the vellum pocket is so original... I've not seen that!

  4. It's so lovely, Karen - such soft & pretty colors and I do love shakers! Those sequins are gorgeous - and such a wonderful design!

Thanks for your comments. They mean so much to me.
