Marching Into March With V's

It's a new month, and March means a FUN new challenge at V's Sweet Ideas.  This month we are celebrating "Lady Luck".  This is a foreign concept for me, as I don't really believe in "luck".  I believe that everything is divinely intervened upon; but I also know that when it comes to winning challenges, I always wish people "luck".  So, my take on this month's challenge is just to invite you ALL to come play along in the new challenge at V's Sweet Ideas, and to wish you all GOOD LUCK in the random draw at the end of the month because someone will win a $10 Gift Certificate to V's Sweet Shoppe.  V's is a sweet on-line store filled with adorable stamps, dies, ribbons, Sweet Dots, sequins, and SO much more.  So, come and link up with us for a chance to win.
I created my card using some super old patterned papers and supplies from my stash.  They are from Crate Paper's Early Bird line (super old stuff).  I inked and machine stitched two patterned papers together, added a couple of stickers (one is a journalling spot and the other is a sentiment), some washi tape, Sweet Dots, and a piece of coordinating chipboard.  I tried to use some green in my project for the sake of March and St. Patrick's Day.

I'm going to push my "luck" by playing along in a few challenges where my card qualifies.  But I encourage all of YOU to stop by V's Sweet Ideas to link up in the March Challenge with us.  We always enjoy seeing your creative projects, and I hope to see you all there.

Little Scrap Pieces - Show It Off Saturday Linky Party

Choux Choux Paper Art - Lori Hairston's Challenge #4 - St. Patrick's Day/Green - This isn't the card I originally planned to enter in this challenge (that one is coming March 4), but this one qualified as well so I decided to link ut up.  Come join this FUN challenge!

NBUS - DJKardKreations Challenge #6 - My NBUS is the red and white striped washi tape that I added at the bottom of my card.

Have a blessed and creative week,
Karen

  4. WORD ART WEDNESDAY COMMENTATOR PLEASE SEE MY NOTE BELOW. THANK YOU

I have received quite a few store bought cards recently and I noticed that several of them had cut outs on the fronts with the sentiments showing through from the inside of the card. Using my MFT sentiment dies I cut an elongated hole in the top of the card for the sentiment to peek through. Thanks for stopping by. Love all my crafting friends.

The die I used for the sentiment hole is a MFT die and the grass is also MFT dies.

    Message for Word Art Wednesday:
I have tried over the past few months to leave comments on your page. I can link my photos but i cannot post a comment. Every time I try to leave a comment in the comment box this is the message I get. I see that a few others are posting comments but am wondering if any others are having this problem also? The comment box always says Your Comment is saved for approval but i don't believe you are receiving them at all. Thank you if you can help me in anyway with this. I would love to leave comments for you all.
