Yes, I am doing some serious birthday celebrating. And no, it's not MY birthday. I just know that I have a lot of birthdays coming up in our family, so while my BFF was visiting and we were creating cards anyway, I got a head start on making lots of great birthday cards for all the upcoming birthdays I need to be thinking about. And, I'm so in love with all these great Crate Paper products that once we got started, there was no stopping us.
This card is very simple. It was created with some Crate Paper Pretty Party patterned papers that I pieced together and machine stitched. I also cut a scalloped border die (in pink) above and below the sentiment sticker using a Sweet-N-Sassy border scallop die-cut. I added a seam binding bow, and placed a chipboard circle in the center of the bow. The sentiment is also Crate Paper Pretty Party.
I will be sharing my card in these challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Anything Goes" - This is my 5th and final entry for this week's challenge at SSS. I always LOVE playing along in the challenges.
Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog - Challenge #152 - Aud Sentiments 6th Birthday Celebration - What a blessing to be able to celebrate their 6th Birthday with them. I've been playing along in these challenges for years, and LOVE this challenge blog!
Dies R Us Challenge Blog - Challenge #46 - Use Scallops - I used a scallop border die to create the scalloped border in bright pink that you can see above and below the green paper strip in the center of my card that contains the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great and relaxing weekend!
