Dreaming of......Ice Cream

Hello, my sweet and creative friends!  Welcome to my little piece of blog land, and thank you for visiting me today.  I saw the sweetest inspiration photo over on the Taylored Expressions Blog and fell in love with it.  I just knew that I had to play along.  I was able to implement so many of my favorite elements on this project including a glassine bag, wool felt, sequins, a paper straw and wooden spoon.  SO cute!

I used a piece of patterned paper from Crate Paper that I inked, stamped with a background stamp, and tucked inside.  I also added a cute little flag to it.  The glassine bag is decorated with a three-scoop ice cream cone that's cut from Taylored Expressions' wool felt using a Papertrey Ink die-cut.  It's just so yummy, it makes me crave more ice cream.  YUM!

I took a few different pictures of my project so that you could see the stamping on the tag I inserted.  I added a small pocket on the back side so that I could include a gift card for ice cream or frozen yogurt.

Taylored Expressions - Share Joy Challenge #42 - Sketch and Photo Inspiration Challenge - I absolutely fell in love with this sweet photo inspiration, and just had to create something inspired by it.  I used Taylored Expressions wool felt in Cherry Blossom,  Honeydew, Khaki,  and Butter.

Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamp - Monday Challenge - Simon Says Tic-Tac-Toe.  I used the top line across with Sequins, Gold and Stamp.  What a sweet combination.  I have "yellow gold" in my ice cream cone, and "metallic gold" in my flag.  The stamping is on the tag.

Your Next Stamp - Challenge #42 - I used the photo inspiration, and those yummy colors!  I made an ice cream cone with pink, green and yellow and added the paper straw as seen in the photo.  FUN challenge, and I just LOVE YNS!

Sweet Stamps Blog:  June Challenge - Anything But a Card - This sweet little bag and tag was created to give an ice cream gift card.  I stamped a background image on the tag that's inside the bag, which you can see in my second photo.
