Fun With Crate Paper

I've done it again.....I simply can't keep my hands off my Crate Paper products.  I even won a challenge a while back on the Crate Paper Blog, and received the entire Journey line.  It's not really my favorite Crate Paper line, but I have made a couple of cute cards with it.  This trailer card is made using it.
I added some patterned papers that I inked on the edges, layered them, added a tag from this line, some stickers (including the sentiment sticker), a chipboard compass, and the trailer is a wooden piece.  I just love the retro feel to this line.
The second card I created uses a completely different Crate Paper line.  In fact, I think I actually combined a couple of different lines on this one including Craft Market and Confetti.  Again, I inked the edges of my patterned papers, layered them, added a tag, some ephemera pieces, gold baker's twine, a chipboard sentiment, and a chipboard shaker box with some sequins inside it.  On the inside of this card, I stamped Happy Birthday because I couldn't fit it on the front as I had originally planned.
So, it's really no secret how much I love Crate Paper products.  Each time they come out with a new line, I'm always forced to resist the temptation to buy everything.  LOL  I need to keep pushing myself to use up all the fabulous goodies I already own.  But let's be honest....that doesn't always stop me from doing just a little shopping.  A girl needs something new every now and then, right?

I sure had fun creating these.  Here's where I will be linking these two cards:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Anything Goes" - Well, that sure makes thing easy!  Thanks, Simon.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Simon Says "Celebrate" - How perfect!  My second card (the birthday shaker card) has a CELEBRATE sentiment right on the front!

Pile It On Challenge Blog Challenge #113 - Shaker Card - I always LOVE adding a shaker element and including some sweet sequins!

Cupcake Inspirations - Challenge #369 - The Great Outdoors - My first card is a camping card, and our family has always enjoyed the great outdoors together when we go travelling and camping.

Little Scrap Pieces - Show It Off Saturday Linky Party

Thanks so much for visiting my blog, and please know how very grateful I am for the kind and encouraging comments you leave for me.  I always try my best to get over to your blog when you do leave me a message.  Please know that I truly appreciate your visit today!
