4 Crafty Chicks - Die Cuts

Hello, my crafty blog friends!  Today I'm sharing a project I created for a Guest Design spot I'm participating in for the month of October with the challenge blog 4 Crafty Chicks.  I will be sharing four projects in total starting with this post for their new Die-Cut Challenge #319 which starts today, and carrying on each Thursday throughout the month with a new theme for each week's challenge.  I hope that you will all stop by to play along with them.

I created this sweet little Christmas mitten using FIVE (5) different die-cuts.  Now please realize that you don't have to use five different die-cuts in order to play along.  You need to use only one die cut for this week's challenge.  I simply chose to use several die-cuts on my project to help get you all motivated to pull out your dies and play along.  Almost all the dies I used on this project are from Papertrey Ink.  The mitten itself is a die-cut from their Shake-Up Series called Mitten Die, the holly leaves are a die from their Holly Jolly Die Set, and finally, the star borders I added are the Open Stars and Closed Stars from their Super Star Borders Die Set.  Finally, the scalloped border die I used at the top is from Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps and is the smaller of the two borders in their Scalloped Borders Set.
