4 Crafty Chicks Guest Design

Hello, my sweet and talented blog friends!  Welcome back to my blog today, and thanks for stopping by.  During the month of October, I'm Guest Designing for the challenge blog 4 Crafty Chicks.  If you've ever played along there before, you know there's always lots of great inspiration and loads of fun.  And if you're not familiar with this challenge blog, I hope that you will stop by 4 Craft Chicks today to check it out and play along in their new Orange & Black Challenge #320.  You can create ANY project that includes the colors orange and black.
I chose to create a little Halloween card to send to the kids.  Of course, I had to make five of everything this year (for all four of Audra's kids, and my sweet niece Alexa).  I love sending them all little packages with treats, cards, and reminders of my love and concern for them, and they always love getting the goodies I send in the mail.
My card was created with lots of great Melissa Frances products from my stash including the patterned papers and stickers.  I added some wide black twill, rusty orange wide rick-rack, a sprig of black tulle, a JilliBean Soup ephemera, and a wooden bat.  There are also a few tiny black gem stickers on the circles.  I also made a candy cup that I inked up with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and stuffed with a piece of antique music paper and filled with big black and orange gum balls.

I really hope that you will all stop by 4 Crafty Chicks to play along in their Orange & Black Challenge.  I know you'll have fun, and the Design Team would LOVE to see all your fun creations.  It can be an Autumn project, a Not-So-Spooky creation, or anything with the theme colors.  We hope to see your creations linked to the challenge.
