Today I'm posting a super cute card that I first saw on Melissa Phillips' Blog, and have always loved. Well, when I recently won a Paper Smooches gift certificate in a challenge, I quickly knew what I wanted to purchase. I've wanted to recreate this cute card for quite some time, and I had a lot of fun putting my own spin on it. I used lots of October Afternoon patterned paper scraps, cintage dictionary pages, some felt to cut the tiny white flowers, machine stitching, and some of my VERY hoarded vintage scotch tape.
I just love this sweet Linked Hearts Die, and had fun piecing together the different patterns. I used several stamps from the Paper Smooches Feathered Friends Stamp Set including the birds, the heart, the leaf, and the sentiment.
Here are the challenges where I'm linking my "Hi Tweets" card. Please know that I'm very grateful for your visit today. It was so much fun making a card just for fun...for me, using something I won and that I love. It's a good feeling.
Paper Smooches January Challenge: Comfort/Cozy Photo Inspiration - I went with the blues in the inspiration photo, added some white pom pom trim to the bottom (cozy/comfort), and also added the felt for cozy/comfort feeling.
