Welcome by my blog today, friends! I'm so glad you've chosen to stop by. Today is the start of a brand new, exciting Anything Goes Challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and we'd LOVE to have you play along with us. The only requirement is that you use ribbon, lace, twine, or ANY sort of spooled trim on your project. I decided to get a head-start on some Valentines Day cards I need to make.
This card was created by using a white card stock base and two different patterned papers that I inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink. Next, I ran a width of Cream Seam Binding across the card, and then tied a bow using the Cream Seaming Binding, Lipstick Red Seam Binding and Cherry Baker's Twine. They look so sweet together, and with over 40 colors of Baker's Twine and over 40 colors of Seam Binding, you're sure to find the perfect trim for your next project.
My card is also decorated with some of the lovely Mulberry Flowers carried at Really Reasonable Ribbon. These three big, beautiful flowers I used are called Trellis Roses, and the shade I used is found in the Mixed Reds Collection. You will also see that I added a Green Mulberry Leaf and a small White Mulberry Leaf.
The other items used on this card include a cute journalling card, a vintage button, and a Prima metal key paper clip. The Really Reasonable Ribbon Seam Binding, Cherry Baker's Twine, and Mulberry Flowers are really the star of this card.
Thanks for stopping by today. We really hope that you will stop by to play along in our new Anything Goes Challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Happy crafting,
Karen
