Hello, everyone, and welcome by today for a Sneak Peek of the January, 2017 Paper Sweeties New Release. Today we're all giving you all a little "sneak peek" of the adorable new Somewhere Over The Rainbow Stamp Set and matching Somewhere Over The Rainbow Sweet Cuts (die-cuts). This whimsical set includes sentiments from "Somewhere Over The Rainbow"; and also includes a cute house, a rainbow, a cloud, a sunshine, and falling hearts. The Somewhere Over The Rainbow Sweet Cuts make using this set SO easy. You won't get to see ALL the stamps today (at least not here on my blog), but tomorrow is the Release Party, and I'll be sharing another card that features ALL the images from this ADORABLE new set. And the best news of all...this new set will be available for sale in the Paper Sweeties shop tomorrow!!
I've had some of my creative friends say to me, "I don't use many stamps because I'm not good at coloring in images". Well, coloring in stamped images with markers is easy and fun; but it's not for everyone. For that reason, with this month's Paper Sweeties Release, I'm showcasing a technique with the new Somewhere Over The Rainbow Stamp Set where you stamp your images directly on to patterned papers. That way, the images are already colored for you. This is also a great way to use up old patterned papers you have. The images can be easily stamped onto small coordinating paper scraps. Paper piecing is also easy and fun, and works really well with Paper Sweeties dolls and clothing outfits.
You will also notice that I used Cotton Candy Seam Binding, Blueberry Seam Binding, Sugar Sprinkles Sequins and Robin's Egg Sequins on this card. There are SO many sweet products at Paper Sweeties. I had SO much fun with this sweet new stamp set, and I know you will absolutely LOVE it as well.
Here's the list of New Release Sneak Peek DT Blog Members participating in today's fun event, and we will all be back tomorrow with the BIG Paper Sweeties New Release Party, and you won't want to miss out on all the excitement and inspiration. I hope you will join us.
Thanks for stopping by!
