Hello friends! I'm so glad you've stopped by today because this is a really special day at Paper Sweeties. We're revealing our brand new January Release, and I am sure that you will fall in love with this sweet new set. It's called Somewhere Over The Rainbow, and it lives up to its name.
I used this adorable new Somewhere Over The Rainbow Stamp Set and used the coordinating Somewhere Over The Rainbow Sweet Cuts to perfectly die-cut all my images. I used 3-D tape on the sunshine and clouds, and I used the paper-piecing technique create my house (building, door, roof). As I mentioned yesterday, if you don't like coloring in stamped images, you can use this paper-piecing technique to stamp directly onto patterned papers as I did on my Paper Sweeties projects this month. This allowed me to use up old patterned paper scraps AND to create an adorable card (even if I do say so myself....LOL).
It's very unusual for me to make a card that has absolutely no ribbons, no buttons, etc. However, when I look at this card....I see a perfectly laid-out scene that doesn't really need anything else; and this sweet new Somewhere Over The Rainbow Stamp Set can help YOU create a sweet card or scrapbook page, too.
Here's the list of DT Members participating in today's New Release Party, and we'll all be back again tomorrow to share another new project with you as we wrap up with our Paper Sweeties January Release Rewind. The projects we share tomorrow will give you some great ideas for incorporating this sweet new set with some of your other Paper Sweeties favorites.
Thanks for stopping by!
Karen
