You're A Doll

Welcome by today!  I've been so busy making and posting cards for various Design Team assignments that I haven't had a chance to just create something purely for fun.  I had a lot of time creating this sweet card using some of my coveted Crate Paper Oh Darling products.  I found a sweet card on Pinterest that Melissa Phillips had created a while back, and I used that as my inspiration for this one.
Everything on this card is from Crate Paper's Oh Darling line with the exception of the little rusty paper clip and the Burlap Distress Ink which are both Tim Holtz.  While I still have a lot of this lovely line left in my stash, I didn't have everything used in the card I "lifted', so I had to make it work with what I had.
It's difficult to see it in the photos, but some of these pieces are paper, some are vellum, some are chipboard, and some are even wooden.  The wood pieces are my favorite, and you can see a bit of the wood piece on the flower (over the brown vellum piece and under the pink layered flower).
I also wanted to say a special word a thanks to my crafty friend, Dottie, who sent me some of her extra Oh Darling pieces that she wasn't using.  I thought I'd put them to good use right away by whipping up this card and sending it to her as a thank you.  I'm sure she'd appreciate it if you want to stop by her blog to say hello.
