Paper Sweeties New March Challenge

Hey there, blog friends!  Today is the 1st of the month, and time for a SUPER FUN new challenge at Paper Sweeties.  This month's challenge is Anything Goes, and it has a wonderful inspiration photo to get you started.  You aren't required to use Paper Sweeties products to play along, but we sure do love seeing them if you have some.  And if you don't own any yet, OH MY...let me encourage you to stop by Paper Sweeties to treat yourself.  Their products are SO very sweet.

I made my card for the challenge using black card stock because I was inspired by the chalkboard element in the inspiration photo.  I stamped the sentiment, outfit and coffee cup from a new Paper Sweeties set that will be released on March 15.  I also stamped Abigail and colored her with my Copics.  I placed a flower on her dress which is stamped and cut using a sweet little flower from the Basket Add On: Hoppy Easter Set, and I topped it with a Sugar Sprinkles Sequin.  I ran a length of Oatmeal Seam Binding on to left side of my card, and tied a fluffy bow with it.
I didn't have a lot of choices in black and white for Abigail to wear, so I had to work with what I did have.  Her outfit was a little bit plain looking, and that's when I decided she needed that sweet little flower on her outfit.  Using the flower from the Basket Add On: Hoppy Easter Set gave her outfit just the right pop of color it needed.  All of Paper Sweeties' stamp sets work so well together and compliment one another so nicely.
There's SO MUCH excitement going on at Paper Sweeties.  This fun new challenge is a great place to play along for the chance to win a $25 Paper Sweeties gift certificate and a Guest Design spot, and the DT Members' Blogs and Paper Sweeties Gallery are loaded with great inspiration.  The Paper Sweeties store is filled to the brim with darling stamps and coordinating dies called Sweet Cuts, lovely seam binding, sequins, and everything to create something adorable.  I really hope you will stop by Paper Sweeties to check out all the fun.
Thanks so much for visiting today.  Here's the list of everyone on the Paper Sweeties Design Team who are sharing inspirational projects today.  You won't want to miss any of these talented ladies' blogs:

Thanks again for stopping by today.  Have a blessed and creative week,
Karen
