What's a Girl To Do?

Have you ever had a nice card coming together, and then....woops!  You make a smudge somewhere on your card.  Do you throw it away and start over?  What's a girl to do?  Well, for this girl....you improvise.  I made a smudge right above the sentiment on this card and I panicked at first.  Yes, I could have restamped it; but I wanted to "make it work" (as Tim Gunn would say).  My solution was to take a very small piece of narrow wahsi tape and cover it, and it fixed the problem perfectly.  If I hadn't told you...you would have never known I made a "woops".
This card was created using some ephemera from JilliBean Soup, Cream Seam Binding, Grass Green Seam Binding, and a stamped sentiment (using Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress Ink).  It's a VERY quick and simple card, but I wanted to play along in some challenges so...this is what I created!
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I appreciate your visits here, and I wish you a blessed and creative week.  Enjoy!

  1. Fabulous card Karen! You shouldn't have told on yourself! It is VERY frustrating when that happens!

  5. Your Bingo card drew me right in when I was looking at the Simon Says Stamp entries this week. I love the Bingo background. In terms of smudges - I do the exact same thing. Sometimes the mistakes lead you to an even better result. We would never have known. It's a great card.
