You've Got This In The Bag

We sure are a blessed bunch....the crafting community.  With the Coffee Loving Card Makers' Spring Blog Hop taking place, seeing all those generous sponsors, companies and individuals along with way with giveaways and freebies...there's just SO much to be grateful for in the crafting world.  What a generous bunch of people, and we sure are lucky!
When I stopped by the Verve Challenge Blog yesterday and saw the sweet digital sheet of coffee and tea themed images that Verve Owner, Julee Tillman, was offering up for another sweet challenge there on the Verve Blog....I couldn't resist.  I quickly printed off the images and made a few projects to share.
This is a little glassine bag that I decorated with patterned paper and machine stitched together.  I added some pink clunny lace, part of a small white doily, and then I added the sentiment and tea cup from Julee's printables.  I pieced together my tea cup because I wanted the cup to be made from patterned paper and I don't quite know what I'm doing when it comes to digital images.  It turned out fine...with a bit of work.  I added a Paper Sweeties Bubblegum Sequin to cover a small blooper, and placed a tiny blue pearl accent sticker in the center of this super sweet flower-shaped sequin.
I inked the edges of the sentiment and attached it using a small rusty paper clip.  Then, I tucked in a small wooden spoon covered with washi tape and Cotton Candy Baker's Twine, and an Earl Grey tea bag (one new and one open tea bag).  I love this sentiment, You've Got This In The Bag.  I will use this as an encouragement for someone by tucking in a coffee gift card and sending it on its way.

I'm sharing this little glassing bag project here in these challenges:
