My Friend

Hey there!  I want to share a quick card with you today that I made last night.  Our middle daughter and her husband are visiting us, and she had asked me if I had a card that was appropriate for her to send to a little boy that she wanted to encourage.  I didn't really have the right card on hand; so I stopped by Pinterest, and this cute Sesame Street Card popped up.  I knew I could easily recreate it, so I dove right in.  I used a Fiskars scallop punch for the Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch and Big Bird faces, circle punches for their eyes, and the other pieces I just cut free-hand (brows, beak, etc.).  It was a lot of fun, and came together very quickly.
I used a small tag from an office supply store, a bit of Black Gingham Ribbon, and the sentiment  (My Friend) is a retired Paper Sweeties stamp.  I also used a Fiskars Notebook Paper Punch for the black edges.  Lots of different punches used on this card, and it was good to pull them all out and utilize them again.
I'm playing along in the following:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "STAMPtember Stamp It" - I stamped my sentiment.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Simon Says STAMPtember Stamp It" - I stamped my sentiment.

Simon Says Stamp Work It Wednesday - Stamp It - I stamped my sentiment.

CropStop - Linky Party #31 - I used Tombow Adhesive and Fiskars punches

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge - #421 - Orange, Teal and White - I incorporated a few other colors as well.

Make It Monday - Challenge #54 - Something For A Child

Thanks so much for stopping by today,
Karen
