Give Thanks

Hello, friends!  Welcome by today.  As a few of you may have noticed, I was super blessed to have recently won a prize at Simon Says Stamp during National Card Making Month, and I was the lucky recipient of a $50 gift certificate.  Some of what I chose to purchase with that money included a few selections from the new Amber Moon line by Prima which is absolutely STUNNING.  I fell in love with it the first time I laid eyes on it; and I was so excited when all my new goodies arrived in the mail yesterday.  I started on this card last night, and just finished it up and photographed it this morning.
I used dark brown Bazzil cardstock and burnt orange Bazill cardstock to mat all the patterned papers from the Amber Moon line that I used on my card, and I layered them about my card to create a pattern of sorts.  I cut a doily using a sweet die-cut I received from my talented blog friend, Esther.  Next, I added some of the sequins and a puffy sticker from the Amber Moon line.  I created a sweet bow using Black Micro Gingham Ribbon and 3/8" Black Gingham Ribbon, as well as a length of Ivory Burlap String; and I topped the bow with two Light Green Paper Leaves, and some of the GORGEOUS Prima flowers from the Amber Moon line.  Stunning!
I absolutely LOVE machine stitching on my cards, and as you can see; that's what I did on this one.  I ran a cream colored straight stitch around all the edges to give them a touch of dimension and a home-spun feel.  I will be sharing my card in the challenges listed below.  Thanks so much for stopping by today, and may God bless you this week.....and always!

D.L.ART Thankful Thursday - Challenge #215 Ribbon & Sparkle - I used gingham ribbon and my "sparkle" on this card are the sequins I added for glimmer!

Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog - Challenge #192 - Bingo & A Sentiment - I got my BINGO (or tic-tac-toe) across the bottom to include my doily Die-Cut, Machine Stitching and Ribbon.  And, of course, my sentiment, which is.......Give Thanks.
