Christmas Countdown With Paper Sweeties

Yikes!  We're only TWO DAYS from Christmas!  Can you believe it?  I hope you've been hopping along with us at Paper Sweeties to see all of the fabulous projects shared each day as we count down to Christmas.  However, if you've missed any of the excitement, you can find all the links here on the Paper Sweeties Blog.  There are special sale promotions, lots of inspiration, and of course...fabulous shopping in the Paper Sweeties Shoppe.  New stamps and dies, older stamps and dies, seam binding, embellishments, and more.....I've combined some of each to create this sweet Christmas card.
I used some Crate Paper products from an older line called Peppermint including the patterned papers and stickers.  First, I laid out my card base and then I cut the largest square from the Square Scalloped Frames Sweet Cuts to create my focal point.  At the bottom of my square, I stamped Meet Me Under The Mistletoe from our new stamp set.  At the top right, I stamped the adorable holly leaves and berries also found in the Meet Me Under The Mistletoe stamp set, and I cut that using the coordinating Meet Me Under The Mistletoe Sweet Cut.  Paper Sweeties carries high-quality clear stamps and dies, and I love that you can always count on having crisp, clearly-stamped images every time, and that you can use the Sweet Cuts on paper, wool felt, burlap, or just about anything.  They're truly AWESOME!
Well, I couldn't stop there....so I went a little crazy.  Please forgive me.  I stamped a few snowflakes on the background using the Snow Friends Stamp Set, and then I stamped the cupcake and candy stick from the Homemade With Love Stamp Set.  I topped the cupcake with some Strawberry Sequins, and also place some more of the Strawberry Sequins with some Green Apple Sequins on my card.  There's also a nice big bow tied with Frosting Seam Binding and I tucked in a small piece of a Strawberry Paper Straw.  Can you tell that I really LOVE Paper Sweeties products?   It's true....and sometimes I get a little carried away piling them on to my cards.
To finish off the 25 Days of Christmas Blog Hop, tomorrow my talented friend Lisa Bzibziak will be sharing a special project, and on Christmas Day, Debbie Marcinkiewicz will wrap things up with something extra sweet.  And...you won't want to miss out on all the store discounts and inspiration along the way.  All of us at Paper Sweeties want to wish you a happy and blessed Christmas and a wonderful New Year.  And once you've opened all your gifts and realize that, once again, you've gotten a new toaster, slippers, and a robe; then stop on by Paper Sweeties to pick up something special for yourself.  You're sure to love it!

Christmas blessings to you,
Karen
