NOEL Coffee Card

Take one wild guess what kind of card I might be sharing today.  Go ahead....guess!  LOL  If you know me, and if you've been by my blog lately, you know that I've been sharing several coffee-themed cards for the Winter Coffee Blog Hop.  I love to play along and participate in this splendid event, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE making coffee-themed cards in general.  I have always kinda wished that Amy would invite me to Guest Design on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog, but......that hasn't happened (lol).  Hey, a girl can dream about what she'd like to do someday.....right?   There are still several things in the crafting community that I hope to achieve, and I will just keep creating as I go...hoping to reach my goals.  Either way, I am blessed.
So, this sweet little card is made by using one piece of October Afternoon patterned paper for the base of my card.  I inked the edges of this card with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tumbled Glass.  Next, I added an October Afternoon star cut-out red tag.  I stamped the word NOEL on the bottom of the tag using a Simon Says Stamp stamp set.  The blue flair (button) with holly leaves and berries is also from October Afternoon.  Underneath the flair, I placed some Ivory Burlap String and a piece of Red Center Stitch Burlap.  The coffee cup was cut with Coffee To Go Die from Taylored Expressions, and it was cut from another October Afternoon patterned paper and a piece of corrugated cardboard. I inked it with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Corduroy.
I don't know about you, but I am absolutely SMITTEN with October Afternoon.  These papers are so vintage and sweet.  While I do have A LOT of October Afternoon product, I sometimes hate to use it because it's just so adorable.  You know....wanting to hoard everything lovely.  But...what's the point, right?  There are just certain items that I wish I could get in a never-ending supply.  You know those ones you just love SO very much!

Thanks again for visiting,
Karen
