Flip-Flopping Away Today

Hello, blog friends!  As most of you know, I live in the deserts of Nevada where it's dry and hot.  There are no real beaches here, or anywhere to gather shells.  However, I had a lot of fun making this card, and just dreaming of being on a beach somewhere enjoying the sand between my toes.
I made this card using some bright, fun Echo Park patterned papers.  I stamped Abigail and colored her with my Copics.   I dressed her in an outfit from the At The Beach stamp set, and also used the flip flops, pail, sea shell, sentiment, and bucket from this sweet stamp set.  I added some seam binding, machine stitching, and inking.  It's a fairly simple card, but all the bright colors make it look a bit busy.  But that's ok....Abigail is having fun at the beach wearing her flip-flops.
I'm excited to play along in a couple of fun challenges that I'm linking below, but I created my card primarily for the challenge at Words 2 Craft By simply because I SO wish I was at the beach wearing my flip-flops.  I thank you for stopping by today, and I hope you're having a blessed week!

Words 2 Craft By Challenge #W2CB55 - Flip-Flopping Away - Did you see Abigail's adorable little flip-flops?  They're SO cute.  By the way, I'm super sorry I didn't get my card posted until today.  I've been having some "technical difficulties" lately....LOL

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says "Make Your Own Background", so I used lots of brightly colored patterned papers to create my background for this fun flip-flop card.

CropStop Challenge - July - Anything Goes - I used lots of Tim Holz Distress Inks and Tombow Adhesive.
