Stamping With Heffy Doodle

Hello, stamping friends!  Well, in further celebration of STAMPtember over at Simon Says Stamp this month, I've been enjoying seeing all the different companies whose stamps/companies are being featured.  This is how we get to know about cool companies that, perhaps, we haven't heard of before.  Or in other cases, playing along with companies we've loved for years.  Well, such was the case when I saw the Heffy Doodle post.  This was one I'd never heard of.  So....I did what they hoped I would do.  I purchased a Heffy Doodle stamp set to create a card and enter the challenge.  Some people have linked up oodles of projects to this challenge that they made back in June, etc.   I don't understand that.  But, I'm (one of the few) playing by the rules.  That's the fun of it for me.  Playing along honestly, showing my work, telling my story, and getting truly excited about a stamp company and their products.  Just look at what I did with this cute Mewniverse set I used.
For this card, I used two shades of pink Bazzil cardstock, a random black gingham patterned paper, a pink patterned paper.  I inked all my papers with Tim Holtz Spun Sugar and Hickory Smoke Distress Inks.  I stamped my sentiments, kitty and yarn balls using this adorable new Heffy Doodle stamp set called Mewniverse and I ran a width of black gingham ribbon across my card and tied a small bow with it.  I also added a small Maya Road canvas tag with a small My Mind's Eye kitty puffy sticker.

I'm so pleased with how my card turned out.  I've been challenging myself to stamp more, and STAMPtember is a great time to do it.  I hope you will consider picking up some new Heffy Doodle stamps (or some other company) and join the STAMPtember fun!

Blessings,
Karen

  3. This is darling, Karen. I hear you about playing fair. I quit altogether at SSS and everywhere. I even closed my blog. Too competitive for me. Good luck on this challenge, I hope you win.
